Urban Tables made our Thanksgiving dinner delicious! We ordered a turkey that was moist, green beans and a great pie. We will definitely be back!

Glad to be visiting Chicago for a few days! We visited the Argyle Night Market last night, and I discovered the Urban Tables booth there. There were great options for all tastes and dietary needs. I got the pulled “pork” jackfruit sandwich (with j*** sauce), Congolese cabbage, and a lentil patty. Best food I’ve had in a while, and I definitely recommend it!Vegetarian options: Many options to make things vegetarian!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten Free

Generous helpings of truly exceptional food. This week the entrees included asparagus. This was mini aspararagus and was marvelous. I still love the fish the wings and wait for more. What a great place!

When I started ordering from Urban Tables, I never thought I would be a weekly customer, but I am! I love the variety of foods, the quality and quantity, and their attention to special requests. I am always looking forward to next week's menu. Absolutely delightful. Thank you, Autumn and family!

I had the pleasure of eating Urban Tables at a catering event in the loop. I had pulled pork, Mac & cheese, and slaw. Oh. And a brownie for dessert! Oh. And a chicken leg with j*** sauce. Generous portions. Delicious to the last bite. The only downfall was they sold out of food before i could grab a second helping! Comfort food at its finest! Highly recommend!

I have neither heard of this place nor seen it before, but it was so close to me that I was curious why it got such high ratings on Too Good To Go. It also had vegetarian food. I hesitated because it costs more than other Too Good To Go options, but most vegetarian dishes are a little pricier. I gave in.Cons: I was a little grumpy about the pickup time being dead in the middle of rush hour (4 p.m. to 5 p.m.) when everyone is trying to go home and parking is annoying. Then when I did pull up, one guy was standing in the entranceway "blocking" the door. I thought he was on a smoke break but quickly realized (after he opened the door for me) that he was waiting on Too Good To Go, too. That's the first time that that's happened. (The entranceway is far too narrow to have more than one person waiting at a time in the middle of COVID-19.) At other locations, the orders were already bagged and ready to go, so you could get in and out as quickly as you pleased. This time, because there is no sitting area, we were just standing at the entranceway at an impossible socially distancing "distance," patiently waiting while she walked around putting a spoon of this and that.Pros: This was ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY worth the price. I've gone to vegan events and paid this kind of pricing for a couple of the dishes, never mind four. I was given white bean kale soup, BBQ jackfruit, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese. All of it was about room temperature and needed to be microwaved. The macaroni wasn't particularly creamy. But the collard greens were 100% on point, and I thoroughly enjoyed the white bean kale soup. What wow'd me the most was the BBQ jackfruit. I've had jackfruit at a vegan fest, and I hated it. I couldn't wrap my mind around why people were eating this. When I opened the platter, I thought she mistakenly gave me shredded short ribs. But I looked closer and kept sniffing it. Finally I gave in and bit a small piece of it, and I called the restaurant to verify what I was eating. Wow! She made a liar out of me because now I cannot say I don't like jackfruit anymore. This was really, really, really good.Even with the wait and having to stand at the entrance, this was very much worth it. Now the high reviews on Too Good To Go make so much sense.

Just enjoyed Urban Tables at empirical brewery. It was so delicious in particular their homemade brownie!

Amazing. Great family business. It's more of a catering sort of place instead of a restaurant. They do both large and small scale. If you get on their email list you will also get options for weekly pick up for delivery of weekly meals. This is especially helpful when you are short of time. The special event they just did for kids for Easter was absolutely wonderful. I received the most amazing Easter basket for my daughter, as well as two delicious Easter dinners. I have never had bad service here. I have never had any problems here. Check them out at the Rogers Park Glenwood Sunday market which is a farmers market starting the first Sunday in June in Rogers Park as well.

We ordered Urban Tables' Thanksgiving meal for our family. It just didn't seem worth cooking a traditional Thanksgiving dinner while not traveling or seeing others because of the pandemic so I wanted to try something different. I may never cook my own holiday meals again. Urban Tables was amazing! We had turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green been casserole, cranberry sauce, mac 'n cheese, and some bread / rolls and a cherry pie. The only thing I would change is that the bread was kind of unnecessary - not bad by any means we just didn't need it. Everything else was basically the Platonic ideal of that particular dish. I can't wait to see what they will be serving up for Christmas and we might try their weekly meals too.

We had the j*** chicken and cranberry glazed salmon and the food was amazing! We will definitely be ordering again. The food was safely delivered to our lobby and was super easy to heat up.

I'm happy to give 5 stars to this great restaurant. I've been ordering from them for several weeks and have never been disappointed. The portions are large and the food is delicious. Autumn, the owner, is very receptive to menu suggestions and goes that extra mile to make sure you're satisfied. Must tries: Mac and cheese, quiche, greens, pulled pork and any holiday offerings like turkey with all the sides! Order for pick up or like me--delivery since I don't go out much during these COVID times. Hopefully Urban Tables won't continue to be "the best kept secret" in Rogers Park, Chicago!
