I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received today, March 8th. I was next in line and only wanted to purchase three (3) pieces ube cheese pandesal. Despite being ahead of other customers, the sales lady ignored my place in line and sold the remaining two boxes to the people behind me and when I questioned why I wasn't served first and why I was told they were out.. It is completely unfair and poor business practice to bypass the person at the front of the line to fulfill a larger order for someone who just walked in. First come, first served should be the standard. I expressed my frustration to the leading ladies on duty, but the decision was already made and all I got was sorry. Seriously? That was purely intentional. I am very unsatisfied with this lack of professional ethics. I hope this practice will not be repeated in the future to your other customers.

One of the best bakeries in the area! Everything is always fresh, delicious, and high quality. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. You can really tell they put care into their products. Great taste, great value, and great service. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for amazing baked goods!

So disappointed in the last few months make a hour plus drive in traffic for my ube and Spanish bread just for it to taste stale and old! It’s absolutely disappointing that the quality of the food as gone down hill so much in the last 4-6 months! Save your time go across the street to Umaga bakery rather!

I recently had a bad experience with this shop. The two old sales lady were very mean. They are lazy, they are talking about the customer in a mean way. Maybe they are not happy working in this shop. 12/25/2025 Seafood City Tukwila Branch
I have been to different Valerio’s and this is really the worst one. For some reason their bread doesn’t taste the same. Not sure why they cary the name Valerio’s. I’m not from Chicago and got excited to see one but then it’s really a disappointment. I boight the siopao pork, ube bread 2 different kind, ube Spanish bread, pandesal I forgot the name of the other bread. All are really bad. Sorry.

I had a disappointing experience at this shop. When I tried to pay with cash, the staff made it clear they weren’t happy about it and complained. I understand that many places prefer card payments, but cash is still a valid form of payment. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a customer.

My mom purchased worth $100ish and most of it has mold!!🤮If they know it has mold they should dispose it and not sell!!🤮
I was there on Memorial Day and stopped at Valerio's bakery to pick up some snacks. I picked up the cassava cake, sapin sapin, cake flan, they're good. I also got the macapuno ensaymada. I am having it right now however, there is no macapuno inside all bread, powdered sugar and butter!!! I grabbed that because I am crabing for that and I love coconut especially carmelized but no trace of coconut!!! I came all the way to Chicago. I should have gone to Red Ribbon for the real one. Please change the packaging if the ingredients is not there.
The bread here is delicious and there are many choices, and the price of their bread is also reasonable. However, their staff at the counter and cashier seem stressed at work, grumpy, and irritable especially when dealing with fellow Filipinos, but when it comes to other races and especially whites, they are kind. From then until now, the attitude of Filipinos has not changed, there is no love for fellow Filipinos.

Food is some of the best breads I have had in the US. That being said the service was not that great and the atmosphere was nothing special. Make sure to try their buttered rolls, they are fantastic!
