Vanille Patisserie was AMAZING! Our wedding cake was stunning and absolutely delicious - our guests raved about how it was one of the best wedding cakes they'd ever had. The to-go tasting was so convenient, and we made a little date out of it by taking it to the riverwalk (where we shared our first smooch) to make picking out the flavor of our wedding cake even more special. We went with the lemon curd and honey caramel flavor for our cutting cake, and provided the cookie dough butter cream flavor for guests as well. Could not recommend them more!
Amazing

Delicious pastries get the Royal and Sofia
Omg !!! The best pastries I have had in a while. It just melts in your mouth. You have to try this once.
I ordered 4 of their sweets and it was wonderful. I can’t wait to come back. The lady who got my order was also very friendly.
I am not from Chicago but I stopped here on the way to Union Station.
The lemon tart was amazing!
I’ll definitely be back the next time I am in Chicago!
Place was GREAT . A little hard to find . Overall deserts were good . I’m just not a fan of the tart but overall macarons were amazing 😍
Very good gateaux and almond croissant but super expensive also!
Delicious desserts and pastries.

Love this place, have been coming over a decade to grab treats on the way home. Everything is always good, the passionfruit tart has been a favorite forever. My new obsession is the chocolate AND almond croissant...omg so good.
The manager was extremely friendly and patient with newcomers. Tons of variety and everything looked incredible.

Small dessert shop located in the Chicago French Market/Metra Market. They had individual desserts and croissants, small sweet loaves, and exactly one 6” cake for sale, plus coffee and tea. All pretty standard flavours, but if what I got is representative of the whole offering, the quality is what makes them special.
I got the Manjari, a chocolate mousse coated in a dark chocolate ganache with a thin chocolate cookie/cake “crust” on the bottom. It was almost $10 which I think is pricey for an individual dessert, but it was perfectly designed and the chocolate was clearly good quality because it was RICH. The dessert was pushing my tolerance for sweetness but in this small portion it worked as the chocolate was very strong to balance it out.

One of two locations for one of Chicago's best french bakeries. Excellent croissants and mini desserts. I especially enjoyed the beautiful Coconut key lime and Passion fruit Tarts! Stop in you ever have the chance!

I could not recommend this place more for macaroons. Their salted caramel is my favorite! Staff is super friendly too! I will definitely need to try their other desserts as they all look so amazing!
