We went here for pizza party night before CHI Marathon, place was full. Food was good, we ordered pizza and pasta, they were both good, hot and tasty. Service was OK, you order and everything is charged in a credit card and at check out you pay. I highly recommended this place.

The crust is more corn meal than dough, which I am a HUGE fan of. It's all really good, and definitely worth it.

Came in on Friday evening during the corona hiatus. Had to ask the guy cooking my food to please wear two gloves. He looked at me like I was crazy. Normally this wouldn't bother me but during a time like this why not wear gloves on each hand? (he only had one on). I love that this place has zoodles! But I don't think zoodles, red sauce and chicken is worth $18! Normally it's $14 but for some reason this location wanted to charge me $18.

I was staying at the Palmer house across the street and thought I would try this Italian place. The set up is interesting and something I'm not familiar with. You get a card when you check in- and I spent some time reviewing the menu before. I decided the try the Arrabbiata penne and it was amazing. It has the perfect amount of spice, and good portion size for the price. It was a little hard to communicate over the counter to the cook- but overall the service was great and it was nice to see it cooked in front of you.

I really really enjoyed my food here. However, I think that it's kind of hard for the chefs to hear because of the stove tops being right in front of them (I'm assuming so because it was hard for me to hear them on the other side) and they initially forgot ingredients in both my brother's and my food, so they had to redo them after they were initially ready. However, the concept of this sort of place is awesome and I ADORED my food! Definitely a good stop for quick pasta downtown.
We stopped in for a quick meal not knowing what to expect. Actually very good soup and salad. Quick and easy. Very reasonable price. Comfortable atmosphere.

The food was great. This was actually my first trip to a Vapiano and I was early in the lunch cycle so it was empty. The staff walked me through the whole process and while it was confusing the lack of people made it ok. I went back a few weeks later to another location and found the ordering experience quite confusing and annoying.

Terrible terrible service! There is always this bad vibes in this place. It seems that employees don't enjoy their work, and they take it out on customers. Empty plates are on the tables for so long, and no one seems to care. Also, the level of cleanness is very very low. Regarding the food, nothing wow or interesting that force you to visit again. It is a shame to experience such things because this place has a great location and a nice dining area.

Vapiano offers a pretty standard ordering/dining experience (although it is pretty cool they cook your food freshly right in front of you). Their food however, is not standard because of the fresh ingredients and preparation. I ordered the 'Avocado E Scampi' salad which was light, fresh and very tasty. The salad is made from a bed of fresh greens with mango, grilled shrimp, cucumbers, onions, FRESH cilantro, onions, peanuts, snap peas and a citrus dressing and a side of bread they slice right then and there. The use of fresh ingredients really takes the flavors to the next level. If you're looking for some fresh fuel in your day this salad is it! PS when you leave you get gummy bears, which may or may not be my favorite part about dining here (:
