Our group had a private tea event in the afternoon and the food was absolutely delicious. My favorite thing was the Swan choux with a surprise strawberry jam on the inside when you took a bite. My photo was just a partial amount of the food offered. It was somewhat pricy due to the large party and gratuity, but we had 2 types of tea from a nice selection of mixes, a huge amount of sweets & savory food that filled me up, and fantastic wait staff that kept stopping by to refill the hot water and check if we wanted another tea selection.
Their holiday tea is definitely worth a visit!❄️☃️ Definitely recommend making a reservation and stopping by💖

It’s was extremely crowded, I ordered a hot chocolate that I did not drink due to the person making the drink while in putting her fingers in her mouth licking them. She did not was her hands but continued to make drinks touch everything with the fingers she put in her mouth. My friends also threw their drinks away

If someone asks me for a bakery recommendation, this is the place. They make real baked goods, things you'd see on The Great British bake-off. The ricotta cakes are my absolute favorite, and they always have something new to try!
One of the best pastries and sandwiches I’ve ever had. The croissants were so flaky, the fillings were perfectly flavorful, and the atmosphere was very quaint. Will definitely be back to try more pastries next time. A must stop place in the Lincoln park area.

I live a couple of miles away, and I made my way here bc of the good Google rating. I wasn't impressed at all. The coffee is okay, the eclair is below average; it's small, the cream is too sweet, and overall, it's Mariano's quality. The design is nothing special; it gives a cheap feeling.
