I was very worried as I'd never been to Viaggio before. I had 3 very logical relatives in tow. We were going to see Kathleen Madigan @ the Chicago Theater. Since my brother-in-law is Italian, I wanted to make sure I made him happy with my plan. From the bread and green pepper starter, to the attendant who ensured our water glasses were always full, to the other attendant who observed we'd devoured our bread and delicious green peppers, the waiter who understood our logistics,...
We have been going there for years first in Lincoln park and then to the locations on Madison, we find the food to be unbelievable from the meatball salad to any of their main dishes. In over twenty years (maybe more) we have enjoyed ourselves there. Great place to go to for a great Italian dinner before a Blackhawks or Bulls game as it's on Madison just east of the United Center.
It was my wife's 50th Birthday dinner, The Food , Service were excellent. The Bartender Angela was great , she knew exactly what kind of wine my wife would love. It really made her night . We can't to go back. Angela & Dave Thank you so much for making it a beautiful night for my well deserved wife on her birthday.
