Grew up on the Southside, living in the area since 2006, we tried a-lot of different pies in our neighborhood. Granted there are numerous styles, etc, Tried them all. Villa is one of the most consistent pies around. Fresh ingredients, fresh dough everything you want from a local pizza restaurant. Sam has kept the prices reasonable also, even in this crazy economy. Hearing they are back open soon!

My husband and I previously resided near Villa Palermo and thoroughly enjoyed the ribs, which were exceptionally flavorful. Unfortunately, we have not visited in three years and recently discovered that it is temporarily closed, which is disappointing.

This should be 3 1/2 stars but we’ll go with 3.

I was really hoping that this place would be similar in taste to the Palmermo’s Pizza places on the Southside. It was not at all.

I had a 1/2 Sausage and 1/2 Pepperoni Thin (Well Done) and Cheese Sticks delivered tonight. The thin was ok but the saving grace was the Sausage pieces in the middle! Cooked perfectly but overall the taste was bland and this pizza really had a lack a sauce. The Cheese Sticks were just awful frozen, bland sticks. There is no need to order them.

I had hoped a better experience but I tried it and I’m good moving forward.

We just called maybe at 7:15 on 7-18-25 and we called asking a question if y’all had the ribs and he put us on hold and when he came back to the phone he said he couldn’t take orders from this number anymore which we weren’t even ordering we were just asking a question so that response if very rude on y'all part. I been ordering from villa for years and it shows how far down yall have fallen from quality of food to customer service terrible I will never in my life order from this restaurant ever again.

Just grabbed a large Villa Palermo Special pan pizza for dinner—$18.45—and it was a straight-up home run. The crust was thick and buttery, just how I like it. Toppings were loaded—sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and pepperoni—all cooked perfectly. The sauce had the right balance—not too sweet, not too tangy. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a go-to spot for pizza in the neighborhood.

Have been ordering from vp for 20+ years and the quality has fluctuated I couldn't tell you how many times I update my review here. Well, the latest is they think every pizza should be cooked like a pan pizza. Thin pizza? No, have dough. Stuffed pizza? No have a pizza stuffed with dough. No more generous amounts of pepperoni, no wonder u can never hold a candle to jb albertos. Smh

Villa Palermo hits every time. Ordered a medium stuffed sausage and giardiniera pizza ($23-ish) and some mozz sticks for pickup—crispy, cheesy perfection. Crust is buttery, fillings are stacked, and they don’t skimp on the toppings. No frills spot but straight-up classic Chi pie. Real neighborhood joint, no cap.

Run, 2nd time in a row had missing items. They gave credit but didn't include tax. The last straw, found 3 sharp hard plastic pieces in my dinner. Been customer since they had full restaurant on Devon near Campbell, probably 50 years ago.Never again!!!
