Grew up on the Southside, living in the area since 2006, we tried a-lot of different pies in our neighborhood.\nGranted there are numerous styles, etc, Tried them all. Villa is one of the most consistent pies around. Fresh ingredients, fresh dough everything you want from a local pizza restaurant. Sam has kept the prices reasonable also, even in this crazy economy. Hearing they are back open soon!
My husband and I previously resided near Villa Palermo and thoroughly enjoyed the ribs, which were exceptionally flavorful. Unfortunately, we have not visited in three years and recently discovered that it is temporarily closed, which is disappointing.
This should be 3 1/2 stars but we’ll go with 3.
I was really hoping that this place would be similar in taste to the Palmermo’s Pizza places on the Southside. It was not at all.
