Went a couple months ago and I think Vinnies might have the best subs in Chicago. Super fresh bread and ingredients, and the woman at the register is really friendly and fun to chat with.
I tried an Italian and their pesto turkey special. I would go back just for that pesto turkey—it was sooooo delicious!

FRESH QUALITY INGREDIENTS ARE HARD TO FIND IN ALOT OF RESTAURANTS BUT NOT HERE WHICH WILL KEEP MY FEET IN THE DOOR. THE NICE LADY AT THE REGISTER IS MARKETING GOLD...SHE MAKES YOU WANT A HUG...I WOULD BUY ANYTHING FROM HER...IM NOT SURE IF ITS AN OPTION BUT I WOULD WANT MY BREAD TOASTED OR WARMED TO SOFTEN IT UP NEXT VISIT. I was so excited as I headed to this sandwich spot because I heard so much about it. My daughter and I came in very hot weather to get subs. Tbh it's not what I was expecting I was rather disappointed. They didn't have any good drinks and the joes juice was to sour. Also my sandwich was just okay nothing special about it I could have made it at home because it was so plain. Also they dont offer any bacon just alot of assorted meats. No I won't be returning.
IMO,Best Subs in Chicago! Pesto Mozzarella Smoked Turkey Sub is Ridiculously YUMMY! Italian Makes my Tummy Sooo Happy 😊. Luv this Place!

This place is the absolute best. It feels stuck in time in all the best ways. The sandwiches are extremely reasonably priced and delicious. The workers are super nice and quick with service. The menu is small but every sandwich I’ve had there is fantastic. Definitely try this place if you’re in the area.
