The best group of strangers I've ever been around! Everyone was having a blast singing and or cheering each other on. It's a small place so recommend getting there early for a seat.

Went to Brando's Speakeasy because it was advertised as a Karaoke bar. Our group went to the back bar area, we were about the only ones in the place. We bought a round of drinks while we were trying to figure out when Karaoke would start. We chatted and drank for a couple hours thinking it would start later since we arrived around 7:30pm. Someone finally asked about the Karaoke and the guy working was very sarcastic and mean about it. There ended up not being any Karaoke. There was nothing spectacular about the place. They didn't have any specialty drinks. This explains why we were about the only ones in the place. There was a bartender working that was really nice and helpful. Everyone else that worked there were rude. DO NOT GO THERE! More happened but too much to put into the review. Save your time and money. It's Chicago and there are much better places to go. This place will close in less than a year if they don't change their business approach.
