Travelled from Minnesota with this restaurant in mind. Highly recommended and lived up to the expectation! I ordered the blackened catfish, greens and Mac. My spouse ordered the cauliflower steak, greens, friend green tomatoes and banana pudding. Listen!!!!! We’re still talking about the food, days later. The service was amazing and we’ll definitely visit again the next time we’re in Chicago!
The food was amazing!! I'm so glad that these dishes I experienced weren't just food with seasoning,but it was fresh and had flavor and was juicy when it needed to be, creamy when it needed to be and buttery yet not over powering.I came for my birthday to celebrate and this was so worth it. The only thing the was the most upsetting was that my stomach would not let me eat more. However, best believe round two coming for my leftovers. The servers are a professional class...
This place was an absolute treat!!! My faves were the gizzards (the most tender pieces I have ever had) , fish & grits (seasoned perfectly). Will definitely be back when I visit Chicago!!
