From the time I entered it was clear that there is a commitment to excellence. The hostess Michelle(?) was polite, welcoming and accommodating as I apparently made the mistake of booking two days hence. I detest open table! Later she took pics of me beside the Beard Awards and front door. Waiter wad very knowledgeable about the menu and New Orleans dining, as I head there tomorrow. The Gumbo was perfect! Would love to have a seafood version from you. Grand Marnier paired beautifully...
The service and the food was impeccable. I got the short rib and the Mac and cheese and they were delicious. Can't really go wrong with the short rib. I also got the mezcal hibiscus drink that was bomb. Virtue is always a 10/10 for me.
Virtue lived up to all my expectations. The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and the history behind the food and drinks. Appetizers to dessert everything was enjoyable. I can confidently recommend ordering the biscuits and gumbo. The current chicken on the menu was flavorful and moist through and through. The crust on the peach cobbler was heavenly.
