Had appetizers and drinks here Saturday evening Feb 7. The place reminded me of Vue on Cermak. It's not a place for dinner, "a meal". It's a great date spot. The hennessy sidecar car was made well. We had the burger and some wings. Both were really good. The server we had was not personable at all. She didn't introduce herself. She had short dark hair with tattoos. She was very dry and not attentive at all and seemed to be in a bad mood. Either way, customer service is a big deal to me and for a $200 bill for 2 adults and 1 child, I expect more. Definitely won't be back. I can take that $200, save the money on parking and hit up the South loop, Oak Brook, or Fulton Market.

One of the best old fashions I have had (it came with an orange peel and a fig) and the vibes were on-point (you can't go wrong with stacks of books all around you). The menu was short but everything was really sumptuous and well-crafted--from the burger to the mushroom soup. Admittedly, I did not try the fries, but they did look good!

This lounge is the perfect to place to stop by for a cocktail layover after work. Shoutout to Angie and Rachel for making the drinks impeccably well and the stay enjoyable. Many laughs were had, and many cocktails were enjoyed! 10/10!

One of my favorite places in Chicago. My wife and I discovered it as it's close to the CIBC theater. Their cocktails are made impeccably well, you will never be disappointed. Espresso martini and Hugo Spritz are always ordered. Their food is awesome as well, the mushrooms, burger, poke bowl are all great. We love sitting at the bar, it's always a great time mixing it up with others and staff.

I tried two cocktails, We Are the Ones and a Tequila Old Fashioned. Both were exceptionally well made, but it was disappointing to learn that the cocktails listed on the website are not the same as the ones on the actual menu, which felt a bit misleading. I also tried the crab cakes, which were a 10/10 in flavor, just much smaller than expected for the price. The hostess seemed rude, possibly just having a bad day, but the waitress was fantastic. Overall, I would rate my experience an 8/10 and would probably return for the cocktails...
Vol. 39 is a great experience. Our second time staying at The Grey and coordinating with reservations to Vol. 39. Management was great. We had to adjust our reservation due to travel delays - and even though we arrived close to closing on Thursday evening - the staff took care of us and ensured a wonderful experience. Great atmosphere. Great view. Great team. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous atmosphere! My wife doesn't drink alcohol, and she was extremely pleased with how accommodating the staff was. They made her a drink that still felt and looked sophisticated and layered. I liked my rum. They also gave us celebratory champagne (NA for my wife!). I will return to this beautiful destination.
