This is the type of place you end up making your neighborhood spot! Amazing happy with $6 wine and really yummy flat bread. We ended up staying 5 hours! Also the patio is in doors!! So you can sit in the cute bungalow in the winter

Volo Wine Bar is truly such a hidden gem and one of my new favorite spots in Chicago! Their cozy, intimate patio is actually unreal — I’d go back for that alone, and the food and wine/cocktail lineup is also just as amazing.

Their Happy Hour is one of the best I’ve found too: $1 oysters, $6 wine, and $8 sangria (Tuesday–Saturday, 4–6pm). Plus, they’re currently celebrating their 20-year anniversary right now with 20% off all champagne, which is such a great bonus.

Highly recommend checking this place out — you won’t want to miss this one!

My boyfriend and I had a great time at Volo Wine Bar! The Happy Hour deals are amazing and they have a great selection of wines. The ambience is the absolute best for date nights - no better place in the city. Our server Caroline was so great. Highly recommend checking this out. Quite an experience!

Such a cute place with good food and even better service. Quiet enough to hold a conversation but still an energetic vibe.

The flatbread was very dry and lacked flavor.

My best friend and I came here for a little dinner and wine night and had the best time!! The owner was so sweet to squeeze us in on a busy Friday night as walk-ins. Our server Austin was sweet and attentive, too.

The place is beautiful, I am usually here on Saturday afternoon for the happy hour to have a glass of wine.
Today it was little disappointed, a lady told me don’t seat close to her at the bar as the chair was busy for her nephew. Well, I left the restaurant and back later, I am the bar now and after 1 hour the seat close to the lady is still free, no one is there. So, I am surprised the bartenders didn’t ask her why they keep a seat busy if nobody comes, especially at the time of the happy hour when the restaurant is full.

I’ve been wanting to try Volo Wine Bar forever, and it did not disappoint. The patio is so cute and cozy — we were basically lounging on our own couch. The happy hour deals were insane, especially the $1 oysters (hard to find anywhere these days). The owner was so nice, came over to chat, and even brought us their famous dessert to try (salted Carmel chocolate mousse). Such an amazing experience all around — can’t wait to go back.

I love this place ever since I was introduced to it from the pasta to the drinks. Morgan makes the best espresso martinis. Ask for Morgan for all your drinks 10/10 every time!

Love the aesthetic! Amazing wine selection. We started with the happy hour, where you can get $1 oysters and spritz. Then we did dessert with some great wine choices. Staff is very helpful!

I had a great time wine tasting here! We sat out on their patio, which was secluded and quiet. The perfect armosphere for a catch up with friends or a date night. The food is delicious too. My favorite was the shrimp ceviche. On Wednesdays, they do happy hour specials on tasting flights! I really enjoyed the Mediterranean white flight. Their broader wine list is also incredibly diverse, representing many regions and flavors. I’ll definitely be back!
