Bro, who are y’all hiding? I need to know, for a friend. Is this like a refuge for wanted people? Reminds me of that one documentary of the war of independence, where they hid people in the attic from the British in 1933 or so. Also, what does the W stand for? Did they only allow in winners? Damn, that’s tuff. I lowk fw that idea tho, because why would you allow in losers, am I right? Anyways, W business, keep it up y’all. Love the work y’all doing and protecting people.

Bring your own food, great vibes, good liquor, phenomenal music! Came to watch the Bears v. Eagles on Black Friday and had an amazing time! Happy hour is 3-6 $6-8 drinks and shots well worth it! Black owned, great vibes, and aesthetically pleasing

If you want to see house legends play b2b and feed off each other's energy and vibes, come check this hidden gem out! I'm not a house head but I love watching these DJs work together to create the atmosphere. The drinks are strong and the people are so friendly!

The vibe started off great music was good so we were dancing the moment we walked in and then it went downhill from there . Me and my sister went up to the bar to order drinks. The bartender ( WHO WAS SITTING DOWN) behind the bar asked my sister what she wanted to drink she said 4 lemon drop shots . She proceeds to keep repeating back the wrong drinks . My sister mentioned maybe if she got up she could hear her better. The bartender got up and was extremely rude to my sister and went back and forth and my sister decided that she no longer wanted to get drinks from this place anymore . We walk over to the group we were with and told them what happened and began looking for another place to go . 5 minutes later THE DJ gets on the mic and says “ If you plan on standing around acting weird, this is not the place for you and it’s a 2 drink minimum”directing it clearly to us . We left. While outside customers were saying we were gonna miss out on a good night . We told them what happend and they said this wasn’t the first time they heard about the BARTENDER BEING RUDE!

W Highway Lounge – A Bronzeville Gem!

As someone who splits time between Atlanta and Chicago, I make it a point to visit W Highway Lounge whenever I’m in town—at least once a week! This spot has quickly become one of my favorite places in the city. Whether it’s Bingo Night, Karaoke, or House Music Fridays, I’ve never had a bad time here. Ever.

From the moment I first stepped in—introduced by my uncle two years ago—I felt the warmth and authenticity of this place. Most recently, we celebrated the life of my uncle’s mother here, and it was the perfect setting for our family to come together, reminisce, and sing our hearts out. That night was a reminder of just how powerful spaces like this can be.

The ownership is top-tier, truly invested in building community, and the bartenders are fantastic—especially Paris, who always brings the energy and professionalism that keeps people coming back. The security team deserves special recognition too. In a time when feeling safe on a night out isn’t guaranteed, W Highway Lounge provides that peace of mind without compromising the vibe.

It’s a beautiful thing to witness a Black-owned business thrive while staying rooted in the community. I applaud the entire team at W Highway Lounge. Keep doing what you’re doing—you’ve got a loyal supporter in me.

The bartender was so sweet and a joy to be around. I had a mock tail that I really enjoyed. My friend had lemon drops and said they were great. I would highly recommend.

This is a quiet intimate spot. Very friendly staff. Very clean. I was there for a party on Saturday afternoon 6-14-25. I enjoyed being there. I would go back again with friends and family.

I never been to this establishment before, but I will return. I was invited for a party and enjoyed myself, the atmosphere, bartender and security were very professional. I was a lounge owner, so I do indeed know what to look for when it come to lounges. Great job Hideaway!
