Simply amazing! I had the classic sushi plate with 10 pieces chosen by the chef plus a sushi roll. The quality of the fish was top notch. I highly recommend.

One of my favorite places in Chicago. The sushi is fantastic, and I'd highly recommend the agedashi tofu. The lighting is the right amount of moody and the servers are friendly and kind.

Best calamari I’ve had! Cooked to perfection. There were a ton of fun sushi roll and cocktail options too. For dessert we got the green tea ice cream pictured here. Super cute!

Prompt and sweet staff. Food is delicious. You can watch your rolls made live. Beautiful decor and delicious drinks. Also one of the bathrooms has some scandalous pictures which are a must see.

Favorite sushi restaurant in Chicago. Prompt service, incredible food (especially signature rolls), and not excessively expensive especially for a more upscale sushi restaurant. Waiters are incredibly nice and very quick with orders. 10/10 would recommend for anyone interested in a good sushi restaurant in the Lakeview area!

Felt like a very traditional Japanese restaurant with homemade soy sauce, koy pond and running water. We sat next to the pond, but if you didnt I feel the space might feel a bit empty. Right next to the bar that was loud, though it didnt impact the sound on the restaurant. Food and drinks were great. Definitely recommend the mango mojito and three headed godzilla sushi. Would have had an extra star except for that the staff continuously asked us for our plates that still had food in them, like they were rushing us to be done and leave. I appreciate the staff taking plates away, though it felt a bit too much this time.

Agree with a lot of the other reviews, just okay sushi that is overpriced. Ordered the aloha, 3 spicy one, and the oedipus complex (points for the name). We liked the oedipus the best for sure. Also, minus a star for costing an extra 50 cents to heat up the edamame then they didn't even remember to do it. A fine overall experience, but would probably go elsewhere. We got takeout, it took almost an hour, so cannot comment on the ambiance.

Great food and great service ! The atmosphere was amazing and perfect for a date night. The sushi and ramen were really good as well as our wine. Food came out pretty quickly and was quality. We made a reservation but on a friday night around 5, we probably didn’t need one it wasn’t super crowded. Would recommend making a reservation during popular dinner times on the weekend.

Overall it’s a good place but the reservation system is really inconvenient. They require a credit card to make a reservation which is really annoying.
