Rude service. Front desk girl was rude. If you have placed an online order and going to pick your order, They will consider you as public and dont let you use restrooms.

The Bento box is amazing, and it’s a very reasonable price for all the food you get! Will definitely be getting this more. The sushi was also very good!

Fresh sushi- loved the wave sushi roll and the truffle sake. The Philly roll has wayyy too much cream cheese. Good god!

Food was absolutely delicious. Drinks were great as well. The service lacked a bit. It was not busy at all, but our food came out well before our drinks, and then our drinks came out over 5 minutes after the other. Definitely not a deal breaker. And will come back again.

Fresh sushi, excellent cocktails, and top-notch service. As parents of twin toddlers, dining out can be a challenge—but the staff here made it a breeze. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and even brought out toddler utensils for the kids. It made a huge difference. We’ll definitely be back!

Really great sushi, especially the rice. Some of my favorite in Chicago. Great spicy tuna roll and the house “wave roll” is awesome as well. Happy to have such a great sushi spot in the neighborhood.

Disappointing chirashi with thinnest sashimi and lack of variety
The website photos suggested more generous cuts and a greater variety of fish, but the chirashi I received was underwhelming. The portion was just slightly larger than a woman’s hand, and most disappointing of all, it came with only six slices of sashimi so thin you could see the shiso leaf through them. When sashimi is sliced this thin, it lacks the texture needed for a satisfying bite and is easily overpowered by the rice (throwing off the balance of flavor). Presentation and proportion are essential to good chirashi, and unfortunately, this missed the mark on both.

Stopped here on a Sunday evening. Chicken karaage was great. Wave old fashioned was one of the best. My fiancé loved the lychee mocktail. Sushi was delicious.

Cute neighborhood sushi spot! Tried several dishes, I’d recommend the Wave roll because it has chunks of sashimi & the salmon carpaccio that has a nice kick!
In short, too heavy handed with the mayo.
We decided to try Wave given the good ratings and living in the delivery zone. The photos on the website made everything look amazing, but flavor wise, it failed to deliver.
We ordered the Spicy Bluefin, Yuzu Kosho Hamachi, and the Wave rolls. I was expecting at least the Spicy Bluefin to be spicy, but nothing packed heat. Honestly, I found all the flavors to fall rather flat. The other annoyance was we were given a comically small amount of wasabi, fortunately, I keep some on hand.
Overall, I was disappointed in our order and felt less astray by all of the positive reviews.
Great spot. The shishito peppers were legit—perfectly blistered and packed with flavor. Sushi was high quality, and the cocktails were on point. Chill vibe that works whether you’re out with friends or on a date. Service is always solid—friendly and welcoming every time.
Food was great. The chicken bento box was phenomenal, so was the dragon roll. Service was not great, had to get up a couple times to go find my waitress. However, they ended up giving me 50% off of the two bento boxes me and my girl ordered when we got the check so that definitely made up for it. Got the vibe that service is either a hit or miss here, but I’d def recommend going for the food.
Great food and great prices.
