When it comes to star ratings for food, and service it would usuallybe four stars, but those pictures that's posted for that bakery is very false. It is extremely dirty looking from the outside to the inside. There is a gate that surrounds the door with a lock next to it. Someone was sitting outside by the curve next to his supposed vehicle. I had to ask him questions about the bakery before I had enter inside. I wouldn't be surprised if they have pest ??in that bakery. That place needs to be shut down for and inspection such as People's Tacos in Chicago on Chicago avenue they had pest visable. I worked for two different Aryzta Bakeries there very nasty, and they aren't able to fill all orders for there companies. They went from a billion dollar company to a million dollar company.

Easy to drive by and miss but is a really great place, an absolute jewel in the rough. Delicious Jamaican bread and cookies baked fresh on premises. They also have dinner plates of J*** chicken, greens, and red beans and rice and Jamaican sodas. The lady working there was so nice and very generous with the food portions, everything was delicious and yummy ?

There string in the bulla cake, I don’t think this is safe at all. What kind of string is this? Please avoid if neccessary bought this at local fresh market on June 4th 2022. Avoid at all cost, the ingredients dosent make mention of any strings

The best cupcakes in Chicago! I love this bakery and when I need bake goods I come here. The staff is always very pleasant and helpful. I have ordered birthday cakes and baby shower cakes and have never been disappointed. They have also opened up a café right next door if you wish to visit for lunch. Depending on the time of day you may have a small wait but it's well worth it.

I ordered a cake for my cousins birthday and they were super friendly and professional. I came to pick up her cake and the line was outside the door. This is when I knew I found West Indies Bakery. The price was also reasonable. I ordered offline. I will be coming here again they gained a new customer
