I go by "the fried chicken expert" on Google review, coz that's what I do - try out all the fried chicken places in the hood. This place (whale) can be a 5 star ? ? experience if they WOULD ONLY DROP THE M.F.ing Chicken FRESH, every single time! They try to give you old twice fried chicken, and you literally have to fight with them to get them to drop it fresh.I would go here every Sunday if they can only stick to principles and drop it fresh every single time. If they can do that forever, I will give 5 stars!!!

Not understanding the negative reviews, ive bought from here at least a number of 10 times and each order has been exactly as ordered. The chicken is all I get with the sauce, its always cooked perfectly and crispy. Definitely recommend trying this spot out :)

Really nice atmosphere and service was above and beyond! However my burger was what one could only call a soupy tasteless mess. Burger patties were overdone and arrived swimming in grease. The American cheese was reduced to a runny mess and someone should tell the chefs that you don’t finely shred the lettuce and mince the onions then put them between hot burgers so that they lose all their taste and texture. It was such a wet burger I had to eat with a fork and knife. I would’ve sent it back if I wasn’t with friends.

gave it a 2 because food was good but customer service horrible. I wanted my mild sauce on my chicken; couldn't get that. They only gave me 3 small containers of mild sauce for 6 wings and some fries. On top of that, they mistakingly charged me 14.99 for the meal and when I came in to correct them, they had to run back tapes and proceeded to tell me that the black woman (I'm hispanic/white) in the video was me, that I gave them $20 and they gave me change but in reality i gave the man $15 in singles and received one cent back. Never again. Too much trouble.

Always check ur order before u leave because I didn’t get my lemon pepper fries or my other drink !
The customer service at this restaurant is terrible. I will never patronize this business again. When I received my order I ask the girl did she give me hot and mild sauce and she said yes. I get in the car and check my order and there wasn't any sauce in the bag. When I go back for sauce the insist that she knows that she put sauce in the bag. The girl and man who took the order are saying "if you wanted extra sauce just say that." At this point I'm offended and feeling disrespected that I'm beening accused of lying about some sauce. That's really crazy that they will talk to a customer like that. This girl has to be crazy to think that it's impossible for her to make a mistake and forget to put the sauce in the bag. Never again will I purchase anything from this place.
