The food came out quickly and was so tasty. Our server while I forgot her name was fantastic

I don't really have a sweet tooth so I don't typically enjoy pancakes, but had heard rave reviews of this place so took a chance. My server recommended the cinnamon roll and it did NOT disappoint! Tasted like a Cinnabon in pancake form. The servings here are massive. Also it gets pretty crowded. I arrived at 8ish and there were still plenty of seats, but by the time I was leaving at 9 there was a wait for a table. Thankfully the service is very fast.

The food here was quite good. It's important to note that the coffee does not have free refills. This is standard drip-pot brew. My group of 4 each had one cup and a refill as the waitress came around with another pot. When the bill came, we were charged $36 for coffee. Refills were brought to us without question, and we were never notified that we'd be charged for them. The atmosphere was clean and upbeat (pretty loud when busy), but our waitress was so soft-spoken that the closest person in our party had to translate what she was saying to the rest around the table. I would come consider coming back, but the coffee fiasco leaves a bad taste for sure.Vegetarian options: Most dishes could be customized to not include animal products.Kid-friendliness: Restaurant is loud enough that any children would be hardly noticeable. They have plenty of sweet options that would interest children as well.

Visited Chicago today and stopped by the Wildberry pancake and Café. This place is very large and has a great amount of seating both upstairs and downstairs. Accommodates for both families with children and adults. Pricing wise it appears to be a little more on the expensive side and I found they do like to charge if you want to substitute. The food was excellent. My pancakes tasted great. The side of scrambled eggs and turkey sausage was also very tasty. Would return.

Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe exceeded all expectations for a breakfast spot this morning. From the moment we walked in, the stellar customer service set the tone for a memorable experience. Every staff member, from servers to managers, made us feel genuinely appreciated and cared for.Despite the bustling morning crowd, the wait time to be seated was impressively short, less than 10 minutes. Once seated, our orders were promptly taken, and our food arrived in less than 15 minutes—faster than most fast-food joints. I had initial concerns that such speed might compromise quality, but I couldn't have been more mistaken. The freshness of the ingredients shone through in every dish. My Mexicana skillet boasted vibrant flavors, with fresh jalapeños adding a kick. The buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and decadent, complemented perfectly by warm syrup. The blueberry Danish pancakes were a delightful twist on a classic, topped with juicy blueberries. And let's not forget the mango lemonade—a refreshing balance of sweet and tart that paired perfectly with the meal. What truly stood out was the personal touch from the management. Michael, the manager, took the time to check on us during our meal, ensuring everything met our satisfaction. His kindness and attention to detail elevated our dining experience even further. In conclusion, Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe provided not only exceptional food but also outstanding customer service. It's no wonder we're already planning our return during our next trip to Chicago. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delicious and welcoming breakfast experience.

My husband and I ate here yesterday and it was a very pleasant experience. The food was delicious and the service was the icing on the cake. Lori went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated after a minor miscommunication, and Clay was very attentive and efficient. We will definitely be back as we were recommended here and we see why!

The food is delicious, albeit a bit on the expensive side - four breakfasts cost about $100. We did take-out, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. The staff I interacted with were very friendly & helpful.I got the Fried Chicken & Biscuits. Even after a 10 minute walk in April (IYKYK), the chicken was still crispy & the biscuits still soft.

Very good breakfast spot on Pearson St near Lake Shore Park. I stopped in on a weekday and the service was very quick, but I’m guessing it is busier on the weekends. I tried the cauliflower hash skillet and it was very good - maybe a bit too much cheese, but otherwise very good. I saw some of the waffle and pancake dishes being served at tables nearby, and they looked very good.My only criticism is that it’s a bit expensive for a breakfast place. $21 for an egg skillet or $18 for 2 eggs with bacon and hash browns is far more than what you will pay in most places.

If you're headed to the Water Tower location on a Sunday, the wait list is your friend. We put our names in whilst getting dressed and 45 mins later we arrived. Within a few minutes, we were told our table was ready. It was a very crowded atmosphere at our late morning brunch, but everyone I met here was very polite, professional, and engaging. My food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Fried Chicken and Bacon Belgian waffle and ate ALL of it! My waffle was made with bits of jalapeno and bacon topped with a tenderized & deliciously seasoned chicken breast and peppered bacon strip. I enjoyed every bite! No alcohol is served here, but there are decent options for beverages. I would go back here in a heartbeat!!! Thanks to the staff for making our Chicago trip all the more enjoyable!!!
