Had dinner with my team. We ordered salads and steaks. The filets came out ok but missed the mark on some of the preferences. We order the Chopped and Caesar salads to share. They were delicious. We had the chocolate cake and the cookie and they were delicious.

Love the chill, low-key vibes here.
Food is delicious. steak is always amazing. Service is just as great as well. Side dishes are good, cream of spinach, mac and cheese, and their delicious au gratin potatoes, Chef kiss.

It was simply delicious.
There was a large group of us (7) and from the moment we sat down we felt like we were being rushed through our dining experience! This is my go to place for a good meal especially when it's a group but our server acted like he had somewhere to go or something else to do and in fact one of my dinner guests had to ask him what was the rush. I understand that it was Saturday but it wasn't like the room was full or he had a number of other tables to serve. Might I suggest to him seem like your interested to your guest and just take a few minutes to listen before you rush off ! Despite his lack of interest we still left him a great tip...go figure !
First time there food was good service was good I just didn't like my seating area.

Wildfire used to be one of my favorite spots for a meal with friends, known for its exceptional service and delicious food. While the service remains top-notch, the food quality has seriously declined. I always order the chopped salad, but my last visit was a letdown. It was mostly lettuce and tortilla chips, with minimal avocado, corn, bacon, blue cheese, and chicken. I felt cheated for $34. The lemon herb chicken was equally disappointing—thin, pale, and unappetizing, accompanied by a burnt sweet potato. A far cry from the plump, juicy golden chicken and fluffy sweet potato I was accustomed to. I've always praised Wildfire, I sung its praises to my friend only to leave embarrassed by the low-quality food. The drinks were still great, and the service impeccable, but I'm hesitant to return, especially since the restaurant was surprisingly empty on a Friday night. It seems I won't be bringing friends back anytime soon.
Great food and service with a pleasant atmosphere.
Food was okay, but service was subpar. Unfortunately, service makes or breaks the meal. It's a bummer, heard nothing but good things, but not being asked for another cocktail, if our steak was prepared correctly..all the little things that matter.
From start to finish we had a delightful experience. The environment was just as you would expect from a steak restaurant. Leather and wood, dim lighting, and smooth jazz! Our server was quick to introduce himself and get us set with water and bread,. We encountered 2 other servers who were also very attentive to refilling water, checking on us throughout our meal. Edgar was amazing!! We may have had an overcooked steak but they were quick to fire up another one and it was perfect. What made this experience a FIVE was they not only addressed the steak, but brought hot sides. My family loved every bite and couldn’t say enough about the service.

For the price, the food is very good. The service was slow but they were slammed busy. Seems like they are not investing much in the decor at this location.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary there. I ordered the NY Strip and she ordered the Filet, delicious! I also had 2 Black Manhattans, marvelous! The meal was so good I left my card there. They contacted us before we made it back to our hotel. I walked back and apologized for any inconvenience that may have caused. They were great and we can't wait until our next trip back to Chicago. We'll be definitely going back. Thank you!
What I don't understand is how could the restaurant mess up the prime rib. We were told at the stattt that the prime rib was overdone which is tragic since Wildfire is well known for it.
Our first time here. The prime rib was spectacular. As was the au gratin potatoes and baked french onion soup. Service was great. My wife mentioned how she'd like the waiter to be a bit more attentive but to be honest, I like it when they leave you alone. Excellent experience in my opinion, we will be back to try other menu items.
We were seated in a crowded section of the restaurant, while other more desirable areas were lightly seated. Our waiter performed only the most basic functions, like taking our orders, and didn't reappear until we asked for left-over boxes and the check. He didn't pour wine except for the first glass, and we had to ask for him to order additional wine. Complimentary birthday cake only appeared after we inquired. Sure took away from what could have been a pleasant Birthday dinner!
