Second time we have been here a little after 3 on a Saturday. First time completely closed, today we were told dine in isn’t open at 3. Online it says 3 for pick up and dine in! To be shouted at from afar “only for carry out” when I say it says “online you’re open” (updated 3 weeks ago) is extremely unprofessional. I’ve been in the industry for 20 yrs, never would I respond to a guest like this. Clearly business isn’t wanted or appreciated, will never come back to this location.

Very weird service situation - the server opened by telling us he wasn't infectious. We left.

We had such a great dinner at Wildfire and honestly left completely stuffed and happy. The prime rib was the star of the night — perfectly cooked, super tender, and packed with flavor. You can tell they take their meat seriously. The baked mac and cheese was rich and creamy with that golden, slightly crispy top layer that makes it next level. The creamed spinach was smooth and well-seasoned (not bland like some places), and the bread they brought out was warm and fresh, which always sets the tone. We also ordered the crab cakes and they were delicious — lots of crab, not overly bready, and cooked just right. By the end we were so full we could barely move. Our waitress had a strong personality and you could tell she had her viewpoints, but she was chill, professional, and took good care of us the whole time. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Overall it was a really enjoyable experience with great food and a solid atmosphere. Definitely a place we’d come back to for a special dinner.

Excellent service. Great value with Restaurant week prefix menu. Delicious meals! Loved the Filet Minon & Steak. The seasonal chocolate pie was outstanding!

Went for Birthday Dinner and ordered off the Chicago restaurant week special. Food was very good. No mention of my birthday beyond greeting from host (was listed in reservation) Restaurant was slow but so was service.

It was a wine tasting dinner. The pairings were perfect, the food and wine really complimented each other.

Thanks to a great Restaurant Week menu, I had the chance to try out this 30-year-old Chicago steakhouse. Excellent restaurant experience: great service, loved the 1940s photos of stars and other famous folks, food was excellent, generous cocktails. One of the best steaks I've had in Chicago, and the Door County Cherry Pie finished things off wonderfully.

Spent years going to the Glenview Wildfire - This is far from that. The service was not to par, the crowd was interesting (including the woman next to us who spent 10 minutes face timing someone), my partner stated this was the worst steak she had in Chicago. On a positive note, the drinks, bread and salad were good. Unfortunately, after many years of loving Wildfire, we will not be coming back.

We had a wonderful time at Wildfire for Restaurant Week! The menu was superb, featuring high-quality food and surprisingly generous portion sizes. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made the evening even better. Highly recommended

Wildfire is consistently excellent in the quality of service and food. One of Chicago's more reasonably priced steak houses, Wildfire also has delicious seafood options, amazing creamed spinach and fabulous cherry pie! A good option for work dinners as they are very accommodating of large groups.

This was my 1st visit to Wildfire. Upon arrival, i was notified that the heat was out. (It was extremely cold in the restaurant) I was the seated near a drafty window even though there were only 3 other occupied tables. All other guests had their coats on while eating. From there, my order was incorrect. I ordered a filet only to be given a NY Strip & tried to be convinced to keep it or wait 15min to prepare what i ordered. I wasn't given bread even though the waiter said 4x that he'd bring it. I had to ask a random sever walking around to give me some & when they did, it was cold. The flatware was cold, the plates were cold. Overall, it was not a good experience & the check was $150.. I will not be returning here.
