We had such a great dinner at Wildfire and honestly left completely stuffed and happy. The prime rib was the star of the night — perfectly cooked, super tender, and packed with flavor. You can tell they take their meat seriously. The baked mac and cheese was rich and creamy with that golden, slightly crispy top layer that makes it next level. Went for Birthday Dinner and ordered off the Chicago restaurant week special. Food was very good. No mention of my birthday beyond greeting from host (was listed in reservation) Restaurant was slow but so was service.

Thanks to a great Restaurant Week menu, I had the chance to try out this 30-year-old Chicago steakhouse. Excellent restaurant experience: great service, loved the 1940s photos of stars and other famous folks, food was excellent, generous cocktails. One of the best steaks I've had in Chicago, and the Door County Cherry Pie finished things off wonderfully.
