Cute lil place the BLT was alright just that the bread a bit burnt here and there and the biscuits and gravy was a total miss like it was missing something, it wasn’t bad but it’s not something I would have again

Great way to end the weekend with my sisters. I had the chicken chilli with onions, cheese, avocado and side chips. My siblings had the eggs Benedict and grits with veggie sausage. They were quick and polite. Thank you Windy City Cafe.

I have been coming here for years and the food is absolutely delicious. The eggs are cooked in ghee which provides for a wonderfully tasty flavor and fluffiness. They used to serve drinks but now it’s byob. I loved feeling welcomed into the restaurant by familiar faces that knew my name.
However, ever since the manager Diane left, the staff that was there for years has fully turned and service has suffered thanks to the promotion of the current manager who is not personable. Now I’m just a face in the crowd and the staff has the same personality as the manger. I used to visit at least once a week, usually multiple times but now it’s just not the same. As a good neighbor, I still refer all my visiting bnb guests here since the food is still quite good.
However, this is probably the second or third time I have visited this establishment well before they close and before their kitchen is set to close and they have turned me away stating they decided to close the kitchen early and was turned away. The management of this place has gone to crap and I don't recommend visiting here anymore unless something gets turned around
