I really recommend this place great good everything good
I've been coming here for 9 years . My Dad and grandpa came here before me . I moved away and have had Gyros in plenty of places in Chicago, and to this day, Windy City has the best gyro I can find in Chicago . I travel out my way and pass places that sell Gyros to specifically come here . Everyone who works there is great and seems to be having fun cooking for the community . Will never stop coming here and will bring my kids here .

One of the things we wanted the moment we got here was get a Chicago hot dog and Windy City hot dogs did not disappoint - my family and I went into this small place because previous reviews showed it above all else. The place has a great feel around it, the staff was great, and the owner (I think as he said he was there for 22 years) was a hoot as he messed with the teenagers (I have 2 of them) and got them smiling before e we were even served. I highly recommend this place for the Polish dog with everything as it was amazing too

Nick (the owner) goes out of his way to greet you warmly as you enter. The rest of the staff is extremely friendly. Their food is always cooked to perfection. I have gone there dozens of times and they have never messed up an order.
