Had it today it wasn’t bad. All though the macaroni and cheese was very bland, and it tasted like something just poured out of one of the cheap macaroni and cheese boxes. The jerk eggrolls were good. The jerk chicken was good. The thing I didn’t like was the mac & cheese.

The food was horrible I ordered 3 jerk tacos, macaroni and yams. The Mac and cheese was dry with no flavor looked fake or like a wax melt. The yams tasted like it’s straight out a can like they just threw cinnamon and nutmeg and before they gave it to me. The tacos tasted like the jerk sauce was mixed with barbecue sauce. Overall everything was disgusting and I am very disappointed. Also they had very bad customer service, the cashier asked me if I wanted fries 3 times and still didn’t add them to the order.

I ordered a whole chicken ($17), 3 piece catfish dinner ($18), and Rasta pasta ($17). The flavors fell flat. I was expecting something more robust in with jerk signature spices. I couldn’t taste any jerk seasonings.

Whole chicken is more bbq jerk chicken. This chicken would’ve been bland without it so I’m grateful for what was included in the dish. Although I needed more from jerk chicken, I will say it was not too dry.

Catfish dinner was also disappointing. The fish was over salted and drenched with their jerk bbq sauce. The flavors clashed so much I couldn’t eat much of it. The dinner comes with rice and peas along with a side of your choice. AVOID THE MACARONI AND CHEESE AT ALL COST. Rice and pease were old and dry. Some of the sauce from the catfish spilled over onto it. The sauce (from the catfish)helped the side dish taste a bit better and it added moisture. Macaroni and cheese is trash. The pasta was dry with no cheese and no flavor.

It was my first time trying Rasta pasta. The creamy sauce was decent. Overall, the dish was dry. It did have some flavor and texture with the addition of peas and carrots.

I enjoy trying new restaurants in the community. This establishment is a one and done. There are better jerk places in the area.

Lastly, the receipt had a 2.5% restaurant fee. Not sure if it’s because I used a credit card or if because the order wasto go. Is that a new thing that’s happening now?
