Wolfys is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Gus is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing hot dogs. Must come back. 10/10.

Major shout out to everyone that works at Wolfy’s you employees are truly setting the bar for excellence when it comes to regards to customer service the quality of the food and the ingredients that you use. It’s a nice family run operation with a retro old school theme. Employees are professional, and greet you with a smile cater to the needs of your family while you figure out the menu
Known for their signature style Chicago style, hot dogs, Chicago style, Italian beef, Many of their signature menu items can be gotten as a combo which comes with fries and a drink. The drink options are sort of limited for fountain drinks, but they do also have a variety of canned drink options and many dessert options. If you like hotdog Italian beef or any of the Chicago style signature dishes, Wolfy’s is a must try but it’s very nostalgic retro Chicago diner theme
It’s kind of funny, funny side story after picking this place. My dad told me that’s actually where our parents met so it was fun little factoid, knowing your parents kind of met at this hotdog stand kind of cool to visit it after the fact without really knowing that detail, When I was younger, I used to walk down to this Wolfie’s all the time when there was a Harley dealership on Western and my father worked there we would go and get lunch for the guys that worked at the Harley dealership. The entire restaurant was very clean, even the bathrooms. It’s unfortunate that they don’t have a military discount…..

Wolfy's is a classic hot dog joint serving all the basics without any of the glitz or glam. Vienna products used here, which is the only way to go if you're in Chicago. Tried their dog and a beef here and got pretty much what I expected. A chicago style hot dog complete with the snap on a poppyseed bun. Dipped beef sandwich topped with sweet peppers. A very beefy taste to it, despite it being dipped, it wasn't incredibly messy either. Fries were size and shape similar to those at McDonalds and nothing to write home about. I liked the atmosphere and set up here, I also like the signage outside. The food was good, but nothing really blew me away. Averaging everything up to 4 stars. A likeable establishment.

Never had a Chicago dog before so we stopped by before flying home. It was a rainy day but that didn't stop us. We got polish dogs and sodas but they had am extensive menu. I feel the price was a bit high just for the hot dog but it did taste good! I'm sure to come again if we ever are in Chicago.

Popped into Wolfy’s for lunch and grabbed their char‑steamed Chicago dog plus a side of cheese fries—kept it classic. Hot dog had that perfect snap and the fries? Oh man, cheesy goodness. Spot’s been around since ’67 so you know it’s legit. Staff was chill, vibe’s no fancy joint but cozy in that old‑school way. Definitely coming back.
Many people had recommended this place and finally made the trip. And I have to say, OMGGGG their Italian beef sandwich is amazing, totally worth the trip. Fully recommend it!
