Started at the bar while waiting for a table I had requested, so we were fine to wait 10 minutes or so. Esther, the bartender, was excellent. We all loved our drinks. Scott, the host, was also our server. He is fun, professional, and on top of everything. We had a great time. I live up the street, but I hadn't been back to Wood in about 2 years. I think everything was better this trip than on my last one.
Food is always good and server pleasant. The problem is the timing in the kitchen. Took us two house to get our entrees. Can't do that. Sorry. No matter how good the food is and friendly the staff is a casual dinner shouldn't take over 3 hours.
11/10 experience. We've been going to Wood nearly every single week/weekend since we discovered it a few months ago. We first went there for brunch out of curiousity. We were warmly greeted by Esther who quickly sat us and was incredibly attentive throughout the meal. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and had great suggestions.
