Best wings in Chicago! If anyone knows me, they know this is my favorite spot. Even our dogs are welcome. I get catering for my important events from Woodie’s.
Entering Woodie’s, I was greeted by very welcoming workers and was immediately consumed by the comfy and cozy vibes. This restaurant gives off the interior is small but comfortable. The TVs are amazing and probably the most notable part for me since I love sports. We ordered the Woody burger and the wings. The woody burger was pretty average as it was overwhelmed by the condiments and not much spice or flavor. The wings were actually fantastic, but I do think that they needed to be more meat on the bones. Strawberry habanero is definitely a must have. Their sodas are also great as well and overall the place is clean and a great stop for finger foods and drinks. Will be back.

Terrible service. They don't know how to provide hospitality or service with a genuine smile.
No class.
They don't care about education. They need Jesus.
The ambiance is scary and uncomfortable.

Woodie’s Flat is a fun, upbeat spot perfect for hanging out with friends or catching a game. The atmosphere is lively and casual, with good music and plenty of energy. The wings are definitely the star of the menu—crispy, flavorful, and available in a variety of sauces. Their burgers and craft beers are also worth trying. Service can be a bit slow when it’s busy, but the staff are friendly and attentive once you’re seated. Prices are reasonable for the area, and the two-story layout gives it a cool neighborhood bar vibe. Overall, a solid place for good food and a fun night out.

I just had your wings from your restaurant in the Gas n Wash in Oswego. They are unbelievably moist, tender and very flavorful.
I just may take the drive to Chicago and visit the restaurant.
Don’t order online. Order is always wrong. I ordered 50 wings. They put no sauce in them. The wings were well cooked smoked but dry as heck. This is the 3rd time my order was messed up recently. Will not be spending my $$ here again. If I want some dry smoked meat I’d go to Jewels Osco and get a smoked turkey leg. Really disappointed.
Edit: I read the response and it doesn’t really matter because I called as soon as I placed the order for them to put the sauce on the wings because I leave very close.

The grilled wings were scrawny and overcooked. The fries were not good and soggy. Chicken sandwich was overcooked. Maybe it was an off-night as a family member said it has been better. Server disappeared for intervals. She was nice enough. I said bar food to set expectations not to be negative. Flavor of wings was solid just not grilled properly. Will try again

Guy working the door was extremely rude, laughing in my face when telling us our table was gave away. Made up a lie about us needing to be there an hour early from our reservation time.
Upon arrival, I informed the host that we had reservations. The host told me that they didn't take reservations. They should be taken off of opentable if they do not honor reservations.
