If they’re not even trying to be authentic, the food should at least be good but it wasn’t. The soup dumplings dough was like mush and they get stuck and fall apart in the little plastic tray they come in (not much soup either). The buns were gross and nothing like the real thing. Rap music and drab decorating…
Just not worth it.

Our food arrived quickly and was delicious! I would eat here again.

First time I came I loved it. Was back in Chicago and stopped by excited but was left disappointed this time. One worker was outside smoking with a friend and peeping through the window to check on her coworker. The only worker in there was beginning to struggle and gave my order to a different customer. Also could use some better food safety practices as I observed some not so clean habits. Not every customer wants their food sneezed on..

Good for what it is, if you manage your expectations. It's fast food, so expect fast-food quality and you won't be let down. Reasonable prices, nearly instant service, and if you stop at closing time you can usually get a bonus bao due to inventory clearing. The atmosphere is about the same as any other fast-food joint, so again just manage your expectations.

I like it. I wish we had more places like this.

This is an amazing concept. Contactless ordering and food pickup. You literally order off a kiosk screen and pickup your food from a takeout window when your name pops up. The restaurant was clean. The bao aka dim sum were more bread-y than a traditional dumpling. I preferred the potstickers. Love the restaurant. It was clean and prices were fair.

Top contender for saddest $15 lunch in the loop.

I was surprised by just how bad their chicken fried rice is. It tasted extremely cheap and overprocessed, and for $14 is insanity

I stopped by on a Saturday, and the manager on duty was Sam. From the moment I walked in, Sam and her staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming. I ended up having to wait a bit longer than expected because some of the food was taking a while, but they handled it with such grace. They kept checking in on me, made sure I was comfortable, and were genuinely kind throughout the whole experience. You could tell they cared about the service and making sure everyone felt taken care of. Even though there was a delay, I left feeling appreciated and well looked after. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference—I’ll definitely be back! Oh and most importantly, the food was phenomenal! I ordered the Potstickers and Egg Rolls!

Unremarkable gruel. Bland paste that pretended to be King Pao chicken. Flat warm soda and a broken ice machine complimented the meal. Place needs management.

WORST FOOD EVER, we were so hungry and after the first bite we just couldn’t eat it. The teriyaki with noodles tasted like cat food, and the orange chicken tasted straight out of a box. Please don’t come to waste your money and lose your hunger.

It is quick + easy, especially the online ordering from their website. They have a meager points rewards system. Carb-heavy and salty but sometimes that’s what one craves in the middle of the workday.

Small plates. Good BAO- several flavors. Potsticker were very good flavor and sauce. Drinks are tasty. Egg roll okay. Rice okay. Service is friendly. Cold in restaurant. Plan look, not much to see. Hard to identify outside, in atrium of hotel/indoor mall.
