An excellent way to serve chicken with really good cocktails on the side.

My friends took me here for my birthday and I now know and understand the craze behind Yardbird. The food was amazing, the service was next level and it was just an overall wonderful experience. I can't wait to take my guy there.

Great atmosphere and the food was good. My only complaint would be that I personally found the fries to be a bit too salty. I couldn't eat them.

It's known for upscale chicken, foods not bad. They have a house hot honey and house bourbon maple syrup. The syrup is fantastic and pairs very well with the chicken and waffles.

Edit: talked to both managers, they handled it very professionally and invited me back to fix the situation and take care of me, they insured they don’t tolerate such behavior and run on integrity. I really appreciate the swift action they took.

(upgraded to a 4 star until I visit again)

Changed my tip from 30 to 33 dollars. Kind of lame to steal $3 from someone haha

Casually elegant interior with a subdued but lively vibe in the heart of downtown chicago. Our waitstaff led by Ty provided some of the finest service I have had in any high end restaurant. The American breakfast with scrambled cheesy eggs (your choice of cheese), toast, bacon, and unique hash brown squares was a win. The sausage too spicy for my taste but that was the only false note all morning. Coffee service was prompt and my guests were pleased with their cocktails and mocktails. The garage literally next door is only $10 with your validated ticket. It just can’t get better than this for brunch!

Atmosphere was nice. Very elegant. Food was just ok. I had the Hot Chicken. It was not really spicy. Too peppery/salty.

The food is delicious and differently different. Great atmosphere, but the music is a little loud!

Small tight sitting area, the food was not great or as explained. Had the back yard bbq and let's say it was not a bbq! A few items I wanted to try they were out of

Parking: 1 hour of parking is $50!

Food was delicious. Our young server was excellent. He was very attentive.

Parking: Downtown Chicago location has street parking. Sometimes parking hard to find without walking a distance

We watched this place built up a few years ago but never really wanted to try it out since I don't believe anyone should pay over $40 for fried chicken. I don't care how good the chicken is. They lowered the prices sometime ago and it is much more reasonable now, so we paid them a visit.

Good:
Great ambient, great decor, I love the 4 seater bourbon room over hangs the entrance. The service was impeccable, no complains.
The chicken was definitely one of the best that I have ever had, I saved the breast to take home purposely just to reheat it next day and to see if the breasts will dry up. It didn't, it stayed juicy. The seasoning was on point, the chicken was brined perfectly, and there is barely any breading, so you get all chicken. Good waffles.
The shrimps in the shrimp and grits were good size, good marinate but needs a bit more garlic. the green onions and the tomatoes were good compliments.

Bad:
The deviled eggs were away to salty, partially because of the fish roe but when I bit into it, it almost destroyed my taste buds.
The amount of grits was too tiny. When the dish first came up, I couldn't even see it. There is just a little bit of it tucked under the shrimps but the grits were good. And I didn't get the amount of broth. Some one flipped the portion between the broth and the grits ?
The watermelon on the chicken and waffles as a side was not very edible however, no taste, mushy texture. Pass.

I have also never paid more for an orange juice than a Stella in a restaurant.

Overall, it is great place to get some comfort food, the chicken is definitely worth it, but I haven't found anything else yet that makes me crave this place, but we will come back for sure.
