Waaaaaay overpriced. Terrible service in the restaurant. Food is not even good. Edible but not good. Ive had it delivered and eaten in store as well. It is a rip off.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. The meal was flawless, the service was prompt, and the food offered a genuine taste of Greece. We were especially touched by the owner’s generosity; they treated us to dessert and gifted us some beautiful local oregano and oil to take home. We highly recommend this spot and can’t wait to bring a larger group back soon.

Amazing spot! Elevated Greek diner of my dreams! The avgolemono soup is not as good as my γιαγιά‘s but it’s the next best thing…IMHO. If you want extra lemon wedges you will have to ask for them (they dole them out one at a time, so have a number in mind when ordering.) The spanakopita and gyros sandwich are arguably the best and healthiest in these parts. And they do a great and simple take on moussaka. Stick around for some serious and seriously Greek desserts. There’s been only one person working the front when I have dined here; so if there’s a rush, be prepared to wait. Everybody I have met at the counter is pleasant and hospitable; and the back of the house is on point. Incredibly consistent. Have not yet tried any of the pizza options but they look and smell delicious. Highly recommend Yaya Ma’s!

Way better than it needs to be. Not your typical greasy spoon gyro joint. Extra, borderline-chefy care in the execution, friendly service, pleasant atmosphere.

A small example: the pita wedges you get with their gyro plate are butter-brushed and dusted with oregano. Nothing radical or unconventional, just thought and deliberation evident at every stage. Not a wild flourish, but an elevation.

Wish I were in the neighborhood more often.

I’ve been driving by this place for a while and finally stopped by for dinner. I wish I did it sooner! My new go-to Greek spot

The baklava is valid!
I also liked the lemonade I got from the fridge. Will be back to explore the menu.

I came here for a quick snack and found a hidden gem! Their dessert selection is delicious, and I could not believe I found it this late into my college career. I will definitely be coming back here for their food!
