First tip for this restaurant is to pull really hard to get the doors open. We almost missed out on this place because we thought they were closed, but if you open your eyes to read the writing on the door, it states to pull hard. Ok, enough about that. We were immediately greeted by the hostess who was also very polite. It wasn't too long before our waitress arrived to answer any questions. We needed her professional guidance to choose our breakfast entrees and I think she handled our ridiculousness very well. Neither of us were disappointed by her decisions as my brother ordered biscuits and gravy while I went with a skillet. Keep in mind, my brother is very picky with his b&g and he seemed to be pleased. Next time I will be going with the Sante Fe Frittata which also sounded so good. Key words - next time because we will be back.

Very clean. The staff was super friendly, and sufficient. The food was wonderful. I'll definitely be going back the next time I visit Chicago. Only con is the parking. It's mostly street parking or paid parking because of the location. I found a great parking area which was only abt a 90 sec walk. 2 hours was $6.75. LAZ Parking is the app I used.

Awful service and hostess. Rude. Acted as if everyone should know the process of being seated. And when Yelp told me the restaurant was expecting me, they told me I was checked in but I still would have to wait but wouldn't tell me how long but that people just sat down. This restaurant acts as if they are doing you a favor to pay $20 a person for some eggs. No thanks.

Fist of all the food is great over here! But ... service needs to tighten up ! Been here several times. Always nice servers, but slow service. If owners/managers read this review!? Please !!The most important issue at this location is THE MUSIC they play. They have a very low quality speakers with sound coming out like from a 20 year old lap top speakers. Its so annoying to listen especially when you are seated close to them. AND THEY PLAY SOME TEENAGE POP !!! I want to enjoy my breakfast! Not to be annoyed by loud cheap speakers and Teenage Pop! Please upgrade your sound system and play something better!

I live just down the street and walk by this place constantly and *finally* stopped by. I was very impressed with the food, coffee selection, social distancing between tables, and digital menu. I had the Eggs Benedict with a side of grits - both surpassed expectations. A friend ordered the potato pancake (and she let me have a bite), which was delicious as well; it was a bit heavy on the cheese but it's easily scraped off. I'm addition, our server was very friendly and allowed us to linger at the table for a bit after our meal. I will absolutely be back soon!

Hidden little breakfast spot in the industrial area. Open early which worked out perfect of us. Inside and outside seating available. A wide range of coffees and teas. I ordered the west coast crepes and my husband ordered the bacon waffles. The crepes were good, ingredients fresh but the waffles were excellent! Small waffles with delicious pieces of fresh bacon mixed into the batter.

Service: Our server was really nice and patient. I came with a bunch of coworkers and it was our first time, so it took us a while to order, so having a patient server was important to us. We ended up ordering almost everything popular on the menu and the food came out hot and in a timely manner. Food: we had everything from Chicken and waffles, crepes and Mac n cheese and some special non alcoholic drinks. All the food was cooked perfectly. Everyone loved the chicken and waffles that we ended up ordering two more orders. One thing to note: it is not "Korean" style, but great regardless! Overall: I thought it was worth the price. They clearly use fresh ingredients and care for their establishment. I would recommend this and plan to come back.

Very solid breakfast spot. They have a wide-ranging menu with all of your breakfast favorites. They have locations all over the place and I've only been to the one near North & Clyborn. I would personally recommend any of the omelettes, especially the Hey Ricky! They have a lot of options with respect to drinks as well. I only ever go with black coffee, however.

It is a stylish and light place with absolutely fantastic staff. And it is a very quiet and not crowdy place in the neighborhood. Of course, you can order delivery, but it would be better to have personal experience here.

You need to try Yolk is you want something different for breakfast. They do have the traditional fair but the unique dishes are great.

Walked over here to get a late breakfast the other day and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The coffee was excellent, and they had a large number of drinks to choose from. The food was also excellent, and for a pretty low price, I got a ton of food! They offer to give you pancakes in the place of toast which was way more food than I needed but I did enjoy it

Yolk, what to say about yolk. This little place is quite good. I had a brisket burger and fries. I agree with another review that the portion size is small for the price. I paid about 20$ for the meal, that was with water and tip. I didnt hold back a star for the high prices because, while this is a small dinner type restaurant, it is downtown. The burger pattie was very good and made inhouse, I thought it was, so I asked. The toppings were sparse though and you get a large pickle wedge on the side. I prefer slices for a burger so I can actually put it on the burger. The fries that came with the meal were your standard frozen fare. At this price point, fresh cut would be preferred. The water was non filtered and they gave me no ice. The service was very friendly and attentive. Overall I would definitely go back. I withheld a star for the sparse toppings as well as the frozen fries and lack of portion size. The fries are a filler and very cheap. At this price you can at least load the plate up with fries to try and give the people value for money. Also they give you the condiments in tiny cups but they dont fill those cups. There is a small dash of ketchup in the bottom of the cup. I had to keep asking for more cups to finish my fries, like 4 times. Lol Your doing good Yolk but you can do better.

Amazing service and a very happy atmosphere. The huge windows bring in a lot of natural light and the music is fun, but not too loud to be overpowering. Nathan, Izzy, and Danny took great care of me and made sure I enjoyed my visit and meal. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a yummy breakfast, lunch, or coffee!

Food tastes fine, but tiny portions and very slow service. We waited at least 30 minutes for a skillet and club sandwich. The server never checked in to say sorry. I would normally excuse this on a busy brunch Sunday, but the restaurant was half empty. The server made me feel d*** when I questioned why my skillet didn't have cheese. The menu clearly states that the skillets include cheddar cheese so I didn't think I needed to specify. $15 for a thin layer of potatoes and 2 eggs is outrageous.
