The cook refilling food was honestly super rude. I grew up in Chicago and have been in Denver for 2 years. I came to take care of my mother’s passing. Was looking forward to Chicago Chinese food and not only was I disappointed in flavor but also in customer service. Where are the thick egg rolls? Just spring rolls?? Chicken was old and dry, rice could have more flavor but was the only thing I got that I truly enjoyed for the most part. The options were also very limited for it being a buffet.

I’ve been coming to this place for years. One of things I appreciate about it is that it’s clean, the food and quality have been consistent, and staff is friendly. However, I came for lunch today, and I’m not sure if they have different team for lunch (I normally would come for dinner), but the food not only tasted very bland, not like Chinese food at all, but also the sushi and the desserts were dry. And just really didn’t taste the way it normally does. This is the reason why I’m leaving this review to encourage the owners to maybe take a look into what they’re serving. Was it worth the $15? It was OK, but I won’t be back anytime soon.

You get what you pay for. The food is OK - not the best. Not the worst. Not many Chinese buffets in the Chicago metro so go if you’re craving cheap, unlimited Chinese food.

Fun place to go for a discount pan-Asian buffet with vintage and diner/canteen vibe decor. Just don't expect typical service and embrace it as a different cultural experience. Food is not the most exquisite but it's worth your money if you know what to get: hibachi made to order, fried fish and shrimps, etc.

You pay a fixed price when you walk in and you tip the server when you are done.

Is it the place for the best Asian food? No. Is it fun and does it bring you to the 70's immigrant Chinese restaurant that can almost be used as a movie set? Yes.

My entire family got food poisoning. There is absolutely nothing to eat here, plates are half broken and the entire place is cold. Front entrance is crowded with "health supplement" MLM ads and cheap dollar tree toys.

If you're looking for fresh, good and a decent variety of Chinese food, then KEEP looking bc this place ain't it! My family came in at 4:30pm on Saturday to a buffet that is pathetic.

This place was so awful it prompted me to write my first ever review. There are limited options and what I did find visually appealing, was appalling to eat. I usually love lo mein and I have eaten a lot of it in my life, but this place doesn’t serve you lo mein. IT WAS BUTTERED SPAGHETTI NOODLES. I was shocked, horrified, and enraged. Do you take me for a fool yummy buffet??? Everything, and I mean everything was cold, even the hibachi was cold somehow. To make my dining experience even worse there was a pyramid scheme presentation happening in the back of the restaurant which made my time ant yummy buffet even more comically bad. After paying nearly $40 for two people I expected at least something to be good but NOTHING WAS. If you’re considering going here save yourself the disappointment and go across the street to Lawrence Fish Market and then over to Happy Star and get yourself double the amount of food you would end up eating at yummy buffet for a third of the price. This was the first time I left a Chinese buffet not full of food but instead full of disappointment.
