I believe they are no longer open. Have been trying to go there various days from Wednesday through Friday around 1 pm and always closed. Called them about eight times and the voice mail is always full - no answer.

The food is immaculate and always served so fresh. I've ordered both for takeout and had their hot pot and can confidently say that the food is a 10/10. Furthermore, the service is always excellent.

Hot pot is AMAZING! We always get the spicy broth. All you can eat for a great price. They have good chili oil and peanut sauce. Owner is so sweet.

Great hole in the wall spot. I happened upon it by accident and so happy I did. I go at least one a month. Quiet spot, byob, very enjoyable for those who like a quiet delicious lunch.

The service was definitely lacking. As someone who goes to a lot of hot pot places there is nothing that stands out about this one. They have a lack of sauces, and the worker that was serving us was very stand-off-ish. Besides the meat, the rest of the food was all frozen. Needed to ask for water. Overall an okay place, and good for the price but would probably choose to go somewhere else.

This place is currently on of my favorite places to get Chinese food! For start the owner, a lady, is super sweet! She gave me and my grandma some cookies that were really good! They all are very friendly :)Outside of that the food here is amazing, I love the chicken fried rice and the general tso's chicken! Their fruit teas are amazing and such a good price!100/10 recommend, it's a peaceful atmosphere as well. As someone with sensory issues it's great to eat here.

I’ve been here a couple times and the hot pot is so good. I can’t handle spice so we just do the regular broth but it’s so flavorful. The meats are such a great cut. And vegetables are always fresh. There’s so much variety. I will say, customer service hasn’t been the best. BUT it didn’t not keep us from going back again. Everyone has been nice, but they missed a bunch of items or are teens on their phone at another table. Honestly, it didn’t bother me a ton, but just know going into it, you’re going for the food! The food was worth it! The first time, they missed a bunch of items on their big sheet (because it gets confusing and easy to miss with all the items on it) so I boxed them this time and none were missed! Definitely recommend this place. It’s delish!! (Ps. Don’t skip the quail eggs! They’re our favorite ?).

Everything was amazing. Food was delicious. Though there was a language barrier, we managed to work past that and get great service.

The food is good. The fried rice was ok. Really liked the lo mein. The service left a bad taste in my mouth. No greeting, no "thank you", very bland. Also, when I asked for a receipt & it seemed like the young ladies both didn't want to give me one for some reason. Like what's the big deal??? Then I heard a sigh like I was giving them a hard time which I wasn't.Not sure if I'll be back.

DO NOT GO TO YY HOT POT IN PILSENJust witnessed the manager assault a waitress in front of my students. My students and I were in Pilsen for a field trip and we thought Hot Pots could be a fun experience for them. Everything was going fine until one of my students ordered a smoothie and accidentally broke the lid. She asked the manager for a new lid, her yelling back to our waitress. When the waitress at first didn’t understand the issue, the manager kicked her, causing her to trip and catch herself on the table. The restaurant fell silent and they both went to the back kitchen where you could hear yelling. Soon after the waitress came back out with a replacement lid crying. The food while decent, was not remotely worth the steep $26/person price tag for something we had to make ourselves. I never considered I would ever witness such egregious mistreatment of workers, especially in front of my students. Congratulations, YY Hot Pot, you’ve reached a new level of depravity and established a new rock bottom experience.

I went to YY Hot Pot for the first time this week and I was impressed with the customer service by the daughter of the owner. She did a great job addressing our asks and was attentive to whatever we needed while eating our meals. Not only is the food delicious but the customer experience is a plus. Can't wait to bring my family next time.
