Zacatacos is a legit gem on the Southwest Side. I grabbed 5 steak tacos and a side of nachos—total came to about $20—and I was stuffed and satisfied. The steak was juicy and charbroiled to perfection, and the nachos were loaded with cheese and guac. The salsas? Spicy and fresh. Service was quick and friendly, and the spot had that cozy, no-frills vibe you want when you're hungry. If you're in the area, skip the chains and hit up Zacatacos.
I came to zacatacos today and what a pleasant experience the service was amazing. Marilou was a great server very attentive n always came to check on us or the other girls all very pleasant and with a smile . Compare to previous visits omg very stale group of girls. I’m happy they have hired friendly staff. The food was delicious. About time a change was needed.

Our waitress was so polite and the tacos were delicious 😋 I pushed myself to eat the two tacos that came with my taco dinner because they are so flavorful and full of meat. Will definitely make this a once a month dinner date
