Last time i dined in Zacatecas restaurant on Diversey was in the 98... It was a descent pretty Mexican restaurant, descent typical Mexican restaurant.. For years i have passed through the restaurant and noticed from outside the decline of patrons inside the restaurant.. I love Mexican restaurant s especially the breakfast menu. So, after years since i stepped into the restaurant i noticed that nothing has changed in their decor, its fine and decently clean but the decor the same.. Upon my arrival i was not greeted and seated my self... It took about 5 or so minutes to be welcomed and have chips served by a 10 year .. (Not kidding) a little too long considering i was the only one in the restaurant waiting to be served. I proceeded to place an order and asked about the breakfast menu but the 10 year old (Bless his heart) could not answer my questions so he went to get some one else to assit me I placed my order (Huevos ala Mexicana) after receiving my order it looked as if i cooked them and im not a good cook.. The eggs were plain with no flavor and beans were dry.. To Management and Ownership: this review is by no means to mock your restaurant that is certainly not my intention.. My review is simply to inform you of a patrons point of view what we see and give you our opinions on the customer service, food tasting, restaurants appearance and cleaning less. So that improvements can possibly be made. With the immense of competition of Mexican restaurant s and especially within recent years the Mexican restaurant s have stepped up their game in improvements, in the appearance of the restaurant decor more modern, the food has a has been taken to another level by putting more spices, soul and ethnicity to their food plates. Customer service, and food could use some improvements and it does not hurt modernizing the restaurant.. If i can give a suggestion show your windows some more remove the plants and unnecessary things from the window.. Although your customer service is not bad you can still imorove it.. Focus on customer service some more.. And food plates. Thank you!
