Very good food, I highly recommend it. The chicken and meats are very flavorful, and the sauces are 100% recommended.

This place is not my favorite. The food was good but it took 30 minutes to make a simple chicken shish plate when they quoted me 15. When they weren’t even that busy. Do better.
EDIT: Since the owner wanted to chime in with an odd response, I'll reply that maybe he should learn from his competitors like Naf Naf, they too make fresh food and yet can actually give a reasonable estimate. Your food isn't the problem; it's your ineffectiveness in training your staff and providing a reasonable estimate. You've ensured that I won't give you any more of my money. Enjoy the tourists though! I'm sure they will put up with your nonsense. Also, giving you one star now because you earned it.

this is so damn good!
I purchased Zam-Zam through a deal from Too Good to Go and was pleasantly surprised. The falafel dinner I purchased was not only satiating and well packaged but also came with two sauces that each added their distinct flavor to the dish. Since the purchase was made via Too Good To Go, it was also priced to buy.
Other things: the restaurant itself was clean and presentable. The staff was Spanish/English bilingual, and their restroom was available to guests.
Overall: My experience at Zam-Zam was a pleasant one. I was able to eat my falafel meal while enjoying regional Mexican music being played through the sound system. In the future it would be nice if a couple spicy sauces were alsp included in the meal, since the food itself was a little on the salty side, and if a little variety was added as well. :)

Doors locked even when hours say they’re open. Stopped doing carry out orders “in fear of ice raids.”
Please update your website and store hours. People come from all over not many middle eastern spots around. Unless you go to Andersonville. You’ll lose business. Might be better to have a secured kitchen if that’s your concern so the business can still operate.

I just got food from Zam Zam Middle Eastern Grill on Clark St, and not only is the food amazing, but the service is exceptional. The girl at the counter, Kylene, is absolutely wonderful! This is my third time coming here, and every single time she greets me like she’s been waiting just for me. She remembers my previous orders, personalizes my meal, and always makes sure everything is just right.
Her hospitality feels genuine, warm, attentive, and full of care like being treated by family, which is so rare these days. She even has this cute pink hair that makes her easy to spot!
If you visit, please tip her well and treat her right — she truly goes the extra mile. The food here is fresh, flavorful, and delicious, but Kylene’s kindness and professionalism are what keep me coming back.
Highly recommend Zam Zam Grill on Clark St — best Mediterranean food and even better people!

Always the lady says rest room nort working even though I buy from there food the lady name is wen manager the owner should know this matter
This is my favorite place to order from. The food is SO fresh, flavors outstanding, great variety and a kind and accommodating staff. When the staff says the food is “made with love” it is obvious. I highly recommend this spot and so far have tried most of their appetizers and salads, most of their meats, and their vegetarian options and have always loved each dish. Highly recommend!!
And yes, I may be addicted as I order 1-2 times per week for lunch…

I went to Zam Zam and honestly it was a big letdown. With a name like Zam Zam you expect real Middle Eastern halal flavor and vibe, but what they serve doesn’t match that at all.
The chicken quesadilla barely had any chicken mostly onions and way too salty. Felt more like a flatbread experiment gone wrong than an actual quesadilla.
The beef shawarma? That wasn’t shawarma at all, more like a Mexican burrito. Nothing against Mexican food, but if you call it shawarma in a place named Zam Zam, people expect Middle Eastern food, not a random mix.
On top of that the music was blasting so loud it felt like a club, not a place to eat. Couldn’t relax, couldn’t even enjoy the food.
Overall, the food and the vibe just don’t match the name or expectations. If you want to call yourself Zam Zam, serve real Middle Eastern dishes and keep the atmosphere comfortable

We decided to try their food, but it was an awful experience from the very beginning. Within just 30 seconds, we were appalled when a man came out of the restroom without washing his hands and proceeded to work as a cashier. We could clearly hear the toilet flush, and then, suddenly, the door opened, and he walked out. Before this, I had ordered a chicken shawarma. My friend, disgusted by what we saw, chose not to order anything at all, especially when the man began touching other people's food. To make matters worse, the cooking area was filthy, and the cashier displayed a complete lack of manners and professionalism, showing no respect for the guests. The shawarma itself was unbearably dry, drenched in poorly matched spices, and completely inedible. After just two bites, I couldn’t stomach it any longer and had to give it to the dog.
