We decided to try their food, but it was an awful experience from the very beginning. Within just 30 seconds, we were appalled when a man came out of the restroom without washing his hands and proceeded to work as a cashier. We could clearly hear the toilet flush, and then, suddenly, the door opened, and he walked out. Before this, I had ordered a chicken shawarma. My friend, disgusted by what we saw, chose not to order anything at all, especially when the man began touching other people's food. To make matters worse, the cooking area was filthy, and the cashier displayed a complete lack of manners and professionalism, showing no respect for the guests. The shawarma itself was unbearably dry, drenched in poorly matched spices, and completely inedible. After just two bites, I couldn’t stomach it any longer and had to give it to the dog.

I've been ordering delivery from here consistently for almost 10 years now. Almost never disappoints (like 99/100 are perfect) and is some of the best middle eastern food in Chicago. The chicken shawarma, hummus, falafel and kafta is all amazing, whether you get it in a pita or a bowl. Kebabs have been amazing too. The white garlic sauce and hot sauce are just divine to add to anything. The salads, the pickles. It's all so good. 5/5

I got the falafel sandwich on pita and it was super yummy!! You can upgrade to get fries and a drink and the fries portion was huge!
One of the best falafels I have ever had! There chicken shawarma and kafta are also good. Fries are a little oily though.

I've been ordering take out from here for years and have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times as well. It's my go-to place for middle eastern food. Love Zam-Zam!

I ordered a chicken shish kabob plate for delivery. The chicken was extremely dry. It was basically inedible as it was so tough. Their salad and hummus was nice though. The falafel was slight dry as well as it was crumbling as I bite into it.

We ordered gyro and chicken shawarma both were delicious and juicy and came out fast! The atmosphere was pretty empty and the service was alright but after all the food that you buy is what matters most.
