I arrived in Chicago late night and ordered a Chicken Shawarma from this place and there was an option to make it spicy when ordering so I selected it. I really like Chicken shawarma sandwiches but had never had one spicy. When it arrived, I noticed it was really big and fairly heavy for a shawarma. However, this did not taste like the chicken shawarma’s I was used to from Detroit and it was very salty. I would not order a shawarma from here again.
I purchased Zam-Zam through a deal from Too Good to Go and was pleasantly surprised. The falafel dinner I purchased was not only satiating and well packaged but also came with two sauces that each added their distinct flavor to the dish. Since the purchase was made via Too Good To Go, it was also priced to buy.
Other things: the restaurant itself was clean and presentable. The staff was Spanish/English bilingual, and their restroom was available to guests.

I just got food from Zam Zam Middle Eastern Grill on Clark St, and not only is the food amazing, but the service is exceptional. The girl at the counter, Kylene, is absolutely wonderful! This is my third time coming here, and every single time she greets me like she’s been waiting just for me. She remembers my previous orders, personalizes my meal, and always makes sure everything is just right.
