Traveled all the way to Chicago to try this place! I have not eaten there but have ordered to-go many times! I am French and it is rare to find a place that makes and sells Merguez. The last time I have had some was in Morocco about 6-7 years ago and in the US, it has been decades. Zebda's Merguez slap. Very nostalgic and delicious.

PS: yes they are that red! But they are very good!

We ordered the meatballs tagine and lamb shank — so flavorful, rich in spices and aroma. They went perfectly with the warm bread. Even the side salads and the olive oil and sesame dressings were great. The gravy from the dishes were so rich and comforting. We also took some dessert home — definitely worth trying. Highly recommend! Great flavors and fair prices.
This tiny Algerian cafe lives up to its motto, “Luxury should be affordable”. Flavorful fusion cuisine, with African, Middle Eastern, Spanish, and French influences. Highly recommend the savory tagine, scrumptious pizzas, desserts and crisp French bread.
