I love coming here to enjoy my brother's bagel sandwiches. They are so special and delicious. He's been a chef since age 15 and that's why his food is so good! There's love in the food!

Really solid bagel and fillings. I had a sesame bagel with Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese, Tomato, Capers, and Pickled Red Onions. Fast friendly service in a very cool food court inside the old post office. Only downside of my experience was I had to pay $12 to park to enter the food court.

Stopped in to Zeitlin's Deli today - had an amazing chocolate chip (with sea salt!) cookie. But the best part was the staff. Super friendly, kind and even though I only wanted one small item, helped me in the same way as if I had ordered the whole menu for lunch. The bagels look amazing so I will be back for a full meal soon! They're a newer spot in the From Here On Food Hall - great option for breakfast and lunch! You can order in person or ahead on the food hall website.

Heaven help you if you ask for peanut butter. "get cream cheese like everybody else, ya ever heard of nut allergies?". Ya ever heard of lactose intolerance? Imagine back chatting a polite customer with cash in their hand, WHILE they order.

Zeitlin’s is officially my go-to bagel shop when I’m in Chicago! Not only is the food absolutely amazing, but all of their employees have been so kind and wonderful to interact with. I love a classic everything toasted with cream cheese, but don’t sleep on the salt bagel!

Great bagels, the owner was so kind and fixed an issue I was having with my order ASAP. Can't recommend Zeitlin's enough.

I just had the Mushroom Reuban and it was amazing!! The mushroom combination was a great texture.

Zeitlin’s Deli was so kind in donating bagels for our annual non profit fundraising event. The bagels are the best we’ve had in Chicago and not one was left behind. Truthfully as I myself am from New York, you can’t get any other bagel better then this in the Midwest. Thanks again Sam and staff for excellent communication, coordination, and support for the Pink Boots Society Chicago- women in beer.

The best bagels I’ve had outside of the east coast and the mushroom Reuben blew my mind

Food isn't bad, but $6 for a bagel with cream cheese is nutty. A $9 breakfast sandwich without meat even, you can go next door get a bacon, egg, and cheese and a large iced latte for the same price basically. Not to mention my "everything" bagel had like 4 poppy seeds on it. A $14 burger that you have to pay to add cheese onto is ridiculous. Having to add cheese to a burger is very much a ???, also have to pay for tomato. Burger was also too bready.

Started with the simple sesame since I’ve never been. Instantly a forever customer.

I love Zeitlin's! We buy from them at the 61st St. Market, but I would LOVE for them to open a storefront. What about the space where Budlong's used to be?

We’ve gotten great bagels from here several times at the farmers market on 61st street! Really hoping they’re able to find a spot to open in Hyde Park so we can go all the time :)

Zeitlin’s is the best!! The bagels and babka are so good, as is everything else we’ve tried. Sam and Hal are great people on top of that, and I always love getting to stop by their booths at the markets and saying hi. I’m so excited about the prospect of them opening a brick and mortar store, and I’ll be sure to swing by wherever you all open up!
