I attended the soft opening and experienced the best reuben sandwich in Chicago. Try the Captain Reuben Leinwald and thank me later. Fresh, soft rye bread and delicious corned beef made for an excellent sandwich.

Best bagels in the city. Sam makes them from scratch! The Sammy pesto is one of my favs.the deli itself is so cozy and vibrant. Such a cute place to sit and relax over a bagel and coffee. Every detail has been thought out including having nice changing pads for families!! Much appreciated. Highly recommend.

Food was amazing! The Matzoball soup was fire! It warmed up my soul! I ate the pastrami Ruben for breakfast and it was so savory! This place the look of a new restaurant but all the hallmarks of a traditional Jewish Deli! It’s a must try!

We ordered from Zeitlin’s Delicatessen for Yom Kippur and it could not have been a better experience. The bagels were some of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, perfectly chewy, and full of flavor. Everything we ordered was top quality and a huge hit with everyone at our gathering.

Can't recommend this place enough and so excited for the brick and mortar to open! Sam and his team are making truly outstanding bagels, putting my local NYC spots to shame. Really love the addition of pickled red onions on the smoked salmon bagel sandwich!

Best bagels in Chicago! They are light, fluffy, and leave you wanting more. I flew home these bagels to California with me twice and they still were good the next few days after! The cookies are pastries are also addicting. If you haven’t tried, I recommend one of everything.

Amazing people and bagels! Loved the classic sesame bagel with chive cream cheese. Definitely try the chocolate babka!

We had sandwiches catered for a lunch meeting and the options from the menu were not well received (Ruben and Turkey in particular were not well received - too unique). The mushroom sandwich was well received. The catering menu is very limited and would not recommend.

As someone who takes their delis seriously, Zeitlin’s ranks high after my first few visits. The bagels are 10/10 - crusty on the outside, chewy on the inside, perfect with salmon or only smear. I’m not regularly a bagel-dog fella, but I tried it - incredible. You can taste the care in every bite, and the staff treats you like family. This isn’t just an excellent deli—it’s a top-tier deli, period.
Go once, and you’ll be telling all your people to go too.

Staff were horrible to me at the Riverside farmers market

I bought the chocolate babkas at Logan square market the other day and they were amazing!!! I brought them to a brunch and everyone loved them! I will def be going back and trying some challah !!
