Not a bad place at all. I think they serve breakfast up until night. the staff there are very helpful and kind (The women charging the money). Would recommend. It's worth the price.

I visit this dirty burger joint when funds are low but I want an outside meal.

Today I went there for the 2 for special.

I placed my order and waited. As my food arrived the cashier put my meals on the countertop. I had credit card in hand but she walked away and went to take the orders of a group of men who had just arrived.

I didn’t understand why she would not allow me to pay for my food.

She returned and mumbled something about taking their order then proceeded to walk away from me again. As my time was running short I decided to leave.

I was very disappointed and displeased that she would not complete my transaction and then handle the new arrivals.

Now I must find another dirty burger joint = so disappointed!!!

Breakfast was delicious ! I had the bacon and eggs breakfast with grits and cinnamon raisin toast. The best creamy and buttery grits I have ever had from a restaurant . No salt, pepper, or even sugar (which is my fav) even needed. Bacon cooked to perfection as well. No complaints with This place.

My friends and I had breakfast here the morning heading back from our girls trip. It’s a cute mom and pop shop. The prices were good and their food was great. Most notably was the friendly service and especially, Billy. He was fun to talk to and made sure we had everything we needed and more. Will for sure be coming back here whenever we are back in Chicago!

Listen… Zelly’s did not come to play. I had a fat burrito — and I mean FAT, like busting-at-the-seams, full-of-flavor, take-a-nap-after type of fat — and it was heavenly. Every bite was seasoned just right, and the portion? Generous doesn’t even begin to describe it.

The staff was kind, the service was quick, and the food hit like a warm hug from your favorite cousin. Zelly’s feels like that local spot you only find if you really know the city. Chicago, y’all better gatekeep while you still can because once people catch on? It’s over.

10/10. I’ll be back — and next time, I’m bringing friends.
