I love this place! The classic brown sugar boba is solid, but I have also had and loved the matcha milk tea with the fruit jelly. The food is also delicious, the crab cake sandwich is crispy and wonderful. They have been so nice whenever I had questions. They gave me little samples of the agar and jelly to try. I’m not sure why they aren’t that busy, maybe because the sign is a QR code and people don’t really notice? I love this little neighborhood boba shop.
Great bubble tea! Drink was easy to order and tasted great. Boba was cooked perfectly.
I order from here pretty regularly and almost always order the same sandwich. It’s great most of the time. Today and once before, the tofu in my sandwich was burnt to a crisp. There was no one in there when I ordered, so it wasn’t busy. I paid for a tofu sandwich but mostly just got lettuce and thin crispy tofu crackers. I’ll continue to order from here. That being said I’d rather wait longer for my order to be done correctly than have a fast version at a lower quality.
Love the boba tea here! Great, strong flavors for the teas - my go-to is the brown sugar but have been happy with others I’ve tried, and the boba is high quality. Food is good, clean and fresh, I’m partial to the spicy shrimp (it’s not very spicy but good flavor) in a rice wrap for a healthy lunch.
I asked for 30% sugar. If what I got is 30% sugar then what do you guys do at 100%? It's pretty average and way too sweet.Edit:- The rude reply from the owner kind of speaks about the place now, there's no thing as customer service here. It's laughable ?. I'd highly recommend anyone seeing this, you better pass this place because if you got a problem, their response is usually this tone. Read their replies on other critical reviews.
I order quite often, i tell everyone about this place when I have good experiences. I have noticed the food or drink quality is not consistent. It’s always so good for the first time then the second time is different, depending on who is in the kitchen that day. I never complain about the differences each time, even sometime it’s so bad. Not this time, I ordered a drink “Kumquat meet lemon” yesterday, it was so good with amazing Kumquat in it, I order again today. When I just placed my order, at the same time I got the text that “Your order is ready”, I was like how come so fast, like instantly. Oh my god, It tastes horrible, no kumquat taste at all, just lemonade. What’s the point of ordering it if no Kumquat taste in it. I couldn’t hold back, I let the employees know that this is not the same like yesterday. She was mad and showed me” Look at our recipes here. I did like the recipe. May be yesterday the other girl did it wrong”. I was like” I don’t care what you have on your recipe. Shouldn’t it be the same standard? If the drink yesterday I ordered just like what you made today. I never go back to order again because it tastes horrible. Why would I waste time and money?”. She was so rude, tried to argued with me then made the drink again and it tastes just as bad. She slams thing in the sink, speak their own language. Pls don’t be rude and make horrible drink at the same time. It’s not worth it. I never ever go back to this place. Horrible!
I haven't had the food yet, so I give this place an extra 1 star. This review is for the boba tea only. I ordered a dirty boba latte with less ice, 30% sugar, and it was too sweet. Hubby ordered peach tea with 50% sugar, which was too sweet. My 2 friends also said their tea are too sweet. The four of us couldn't finish any of our drinks. To reply to the below: we were there last Sunday, Wicker Park fest. I’m afraid i can’t find the tix number now. My friends ordered the fruit tea with all the extra topping and a passion fruit tea.
If you are going to offer curbside pickup then please be willing to bring the food outside. Maybe my $5 tip for a sandwich was not enough? I got a text that my order was ready and after waiting and waiting for nobody to bring it out, I went inside to find my order sitting on the counter and 2 employees standing around doing nothing with zero customers inside.
I was craving for some strawberry matcha latte. I frequent Elitea in Schamburg. I was having brunch around the area so decided to stop by for some after meal drink. I was disappointed to see that the strawberry matcha latte wasn't the same as its Schamburg location. It used more like a strawberry milk drink rather than a strawberry syrup with muddled strawberries. The green wall art is also pretty. The decor of the restaurant, however, is very clean & open. Staff is super friendly as well. I loved that they opened the windows to let fresh air in.
While going to my bus stop, I had a chance to make a quick visit to this cute little place for boba or bubble tea ! There is a vending machine for bubble tea on campus, but still wanted to try a different flavor and got the rose tea with boba . It was definitely a success, even with 50% sugar level the drink wasn’t bland at all! Staff members were sweet too, and I do want to go back for other tea options (and maybe a sandwich too)!!

This is my boyfriend’s new favorite place. He loves the ciabatta bread. I think I’ll order that next time. The katsu is crispy. I got a salad bowl and it was very filling. I love arugula and the bf is a huge fan of cilantro. The brisket isn’t my favorite. The ordering screen was pretty painless. It was so hot inside though and even though the windows were open, there are lots of smokers who pass by.The boba sugar levels are definitely on the sweeter side. I think 50-80% was fine. The employees were really nice and helpful. We got the extra milk tea and were surprised by the size since we also ordered regular boba.
I saw that this was open after a having a little walk on a Friday night, I thought it looked a bit interesting though this will be at least the second review for this particular address, could be the third. Though that being said, so I got around to giving them a try.I arrived around 4:20, yep, went to an open kiosk. After a few moments back and forth trying decide between the Spicy Garlic Shrimp and the Korean Cheese Steak, ended up going with the Korean Cheese Steak, got in bowl with Red Quinoa, and added an order of seasoned fries. The process took maybe three minutes, didn't opt to get the free "Dirty Boba Milk Tea" as I am not really a tea drinker.I found the kiosk ordering efficient, and painless, though a customer that came in a few minutes later had some questions which the staff quickly help her with her questions. The wait was only about 5 to 8 minutes tops, before I had my food in hand and was headed home. So I found it pretty quick, though I do have admit 4:30 in the afternoon is certainly not going to be a busy time, though there were about 5 other customers in location at the time. The Korean Cheese Steak was pretty good, though wish it wasn't quite as cold as it was, it was a little tepid, almost room temperature, though it was tasty all the same and not sure what temperature it was supposed to be as the rest of the items in the bowl/box were somewhat chilled. It was served a bed of lettuce with the red quinoa, followed by the Korean Cheese Steak next and then what appeared to be some sort of coleslaw. I did find it an enjoyable meal. The Season fries, they were seasoned, though seasoned with what I really couldn't tell, they weren't bad, just a little bit strange tasting to me, maybe because of some kind of weird fusion thing. In any case, I will be going again, I just must try the Spicy Garlic Shrimp and maybe the Basil Crab Cake, though I think I will have the sea salt fries instead of the seasoned ones. Also I got a kick out the little Matrix reference at the bottom of their receipt ?
I love this store and I’m so glad they opened in Wicker Park. I work from home and I regularly order delivery from them. My order has always been made perfectly, and special instructions are always followed (no jalapeños, sub rice paper wrap, etc). I typically get the rice paper wrap to keep it light, but the bread has been wonderful the times I’ve had it too. The staff has been so kind every time I’ve eaten inside. I’ve tried several drink flavor/topping combos and they’ve always been made perfectly as well. My only request to the shop would be to please add cheese top as a topping option for every drink :) I have only good things to say about Zenwich x Elitea and I order from them about once a week. It’s a perfect casual spot for a quick bite if you’re in the area or a quick delivery if you live nearby. Very reasonable pricing too. Highly recommend!
Great sandwiches at an amazing value. Their fries are also addicting! I don’t know how long they are going to be giving bubble tea with every sandwich, but that deal is bonkers. Don’t miss out!
The Korean Cheese Steak and the Chicken Teriyaki Katsu are both excellent, though the latter is a little light on chicken. Flavors are fantastic. Solid bubble tea--prefer the signature to the brown sugar.
