ZEST RAW VEGAN CULINARY SCHOOL- CHİCAGO

Positives: Zest has delicious and unique raw meals and smoothies. I was feeling in the mood for something fresh and healthy and this hit the spot. I ordered several different dishes and drinks, enough for dinner tonight and brunch and dinner tomorrow. They have a variety of options that are flavorful and filling. They also offer raw culinary courses and I'd be interested in trying one in the future.Con: If you order for delivery it may take a long time. I placed an order today at 2:45 p.m. with estimated delivery time between 3:45 and 4:10 p.m. I noticed at 3:30 that my order said completed at 3:15 online. It had not arrived, so I called to make sure that I didn't miss it. I was told they were getting a driver at that moment and it would be on it's way shortly. I requested a call when the driver arrived to make sure they could find me as I am up behind a gate. 4:45 rolled around and the food had not yet arrived. I had originally planned to leave my house around 4:30, so called again to check when I could expect the delivery. The chef said that he had sent it out 20-25 minutes earlier and it should arrive very soon. By my calculation, that's 30-40min after my first call. Sometimes things happen, a restaurant is short-staffed, and deliveries are unfortunately delayed. However, a status update when an order leaving was so late would have been appreciated. The food arrived at 4:55.I'd order again, but either for dine-in or picking up myself. I'm only visiting from out of town actually and noticed on Zest's website that they have a shipping option. If they ship to my area, I would try that too as we don't have many raw food options where I'm from. They currently have a 3-day meals plan offer for $129.

Food was tasty (we got the club sandwich, pesto zoodles, bibimbop (very spicy!!), and the falafel wrap). Service was amazing! Server was very nice and the right amount of attentive. Chef sent us out some complimentary tea at the end of our meal. Very welcoming environment. Would recommend!

Incredible food! Everything is so unique, super healthy, and refreshing. Smoothies are the best. The owner is so nice too! I only wish they were open on Sundays, as thats when I’m always craving their food??

great food, amazing master chef who is an amazing teacher! i ate at his place, loved it so much i took the class; which i recommend anyone reading this to do cause it is so beyond worth it! one the best in chi town. raw healing foods and he's including infusions with CBD!

My friend and I who are both vegan we’re traveling to the Chicago area from the small out of town location Fairfield, IA and made it our goal to find the BEST vegan dining while on our travels.ZEST RAW VEGAN PROVIDED EXACTLY THAT! ?✨The staff were incredibly kind hearted, personable, and talented culinary artists who managed to create some of the most incredibly delicious raw vegan meals either of us have ever had the pleasure to try!The man himself, Mahmet, is not only an amazing chef, but also very clearly a compassionate human being who was the most patient with us as we took ages narrowing down the all perfect selection, which he even customized to fit our exact wants and needs.We couldn’t recommend this restaurant more to ANYONE who loves delicious and comforting food from a lovely business worth supporting ✨

The food was: Fresh & Flavorful! Since my adult son and I decided to have family style lunch, I ordered the triple tacos, spicy burrito... (Hot) but yummy and the club sandwich. Everything is really good! The owner was very personable, I will definitely visit again!

My husband, my 4 year old toddler and I ate here for lunch today, and we were excited we chose Zest. This place does raw vegan right. The food was amazing. The flavours were on point. The food presentation was an experience in and of itself. We were quite pleased with the amount of food we received. We’re definitely coming back!

I ordered a pizza and Mediterranean falafel bowel. This was outstanding and very filling. I was extremely satisfied. The owner was a very good conversationalist which is always important to me. It makes me feel as family. Highly recommend it! Come support this outstanding business!

My friends and I really enjoy Chef Mehmet's fresh food! It's truly a unique experience every time! I try to order different things each time and every item on the menu has been delicious and filling. The chef's creativity and commitment to raw cuisine really translates to very scrumptious, nutritious dishes! Each time I visit, I am inspired to eat healthier and to keep adding raw food to my daily diet, and that is an added benefit. I have dined in Mehmet's former restaurant years ago and hope that he will continue to serve his community with healthy eats. I also appreciate how friendly and a great host he has proven to be! We just learned he will be giving his raw food secrets away on YouTube as he has launched a new channel. Be sure to check it out!

I had takeout delivered from Zest for the first time yesterday and the food is heavenly good! I've been looking for a place that cares about organic ingredients and there is no doubt they are intentional about using fresh, high-quality produce.
