Overwhelmed with the choices and how delicious everything was. The lamb and the lemon cake are must haves! Thanks to Josh, always such an incredible host making our birthday celebration fantastic.
Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. Although it seemed a bit chaotic the staff was very nice.My wife had the Cavatelli, which we both liked, although the noodles were a bit unusual. The portion size was huge, she was able to make 3 meals out of it.I had the Ravioli D'Zucca which the waitress recommended, it was terrible. There was very little sauce or flavor to the dish, I felt like I had to drown it in salt and pepper. The dough on these ravioli was so thick it was like eating a brick. I honesty never seen ravioli like this and it was easily the worst I've ever had from a restaurant. There was a man in front by the hostess as well as walking around who seemed to be the manager. Seemed to be dressed more for a sports bar then an "authentic Italian restaurant with an elegant and rustic atmosphere."
Excellent service bustling with customers enjoying good food, steaks, pasta, wine and friendship. Fun district
Great food ~ fast food service for a party of 6…Love Zia’s!
Just walking by happened to stop in. WOW! This place is GREAT!! You want great Italian Food you won't be disappointed here. The bass is pretty special, worth checking out if they are serving when you're there. Otherwise, everything is good. You'll return.
Disappointed that they took my favorite dish off the menu: rottolo. Ordered the Cavatelli and don't understand adding sausage to it. I'm Italian and that's something no one in my family would ever do and we never heard of that! Friends ordered the lamb shank and said it was delicious, but the orzo that came with it was inedible and tasted like mildew or dishwater. Others at the table tasted it and agreed. With all the menu changes it makes me wonder if the ownership here changed. I'd say go back to the old menu. Not a fan of the new one.
Italian food is excellent here, I enjoyed the veal caluzza with cavalli pasta, so yummy. Great service and food recommendations by my server, Mike. It was busy and he did an awesome job.
Highly recommend, I would definitely go again

I have always loved Zia’s and had my son’s baptism lunch there. I tried twice in the last couple weeks to reach someone to book my daughter’s. I didn’t even hear back after a hostess took my information down. We are now having it at Tavern on the Point because when I called they got the manager on the phone immediately and she was beyond helpful. You may have a lot of business now but don’t slack on customer service.
Great Food, Service, and Atmosphere!!!
A real Chicago restaurant. All the Locals come here!
Food is nothing special. Atmosphere was noisy and crowded. From the time we walked in it took one hour and twenty minutes to get our food - and we did not order appetizers. When we arrived they brought two warm buns, but there were three of us. When we asked, we were told they ran out of bread! There is complimentary valet since finding parking is difficult. There are many places one can eat in Chicago, so we all decided returning to this one is not what any of us would want to do. Food was not exceptional and service very poor.
Attentive service. Supurb food! Reasonable prices. This family from NC will be back on our next visit to The Windy City! Thank you Michaela for sering us!
