We were a party of 2 and sat outside. Ordered the Grill plate for 2 and the food was overflowing, juicy, seasoned, and delicious. The Zora salad is a 10/10 and their fresh baked bread is pillowy good. Katarina is very attentive and just a great waitress. We'll be back!

This place is the the closest thing to “kafana” you can find in Chicago area. Atmosphere is amazing and the whole team is great. Looking forward to coming back

I had an amazing experience at Zora! The atmosphere is warm and authentic, just like stepping into a traditional Balkan tavern. The food was absolutely delicious, from the grilled cevapi to the fresh lepinja. Their cocktails are one of my favs! The live music and friendly staff making this place more memorable. Whether you're from the Balkans or just want to try something new, this place is a gem in Chicago! Can't wait to come back.

The food was top notch, so delicious. Our service, while friendly was slow and nonexistent, even though we were the only ones inside.
Our tablecloth was dirty and covered in crumbs.

Mixed Experience – Food Was Fine, But Unprofessional Presentation

I recently visited Zora Restaurant. The food was okay, and I want to specifically acknowledge the gentleman working there — he was polite, professional, and provided good service.

However, I was quite disappointed by one of the female staff members. She was wearing a shirt that said “Pumpaj” with a heart on it — openly supporting a movement I consider harmful and deeply disrespectful to our country and its values. Regardless of personal beliefs, I found it highly unprofessional for a staff member to wear politically charged clothing while serving customers in a restaurant.

Restaurants should be welcoming spaces for everyone, not places where controversial or divisive messages are promoted — especially by staff.

This seriously impacted my impression of the place. I hope the management reconsiders what kind of image they want to project to their guests
