I went here a few weeks ago to pick up some treats on the way to a friends house and it was a great experience. The owner Nico (not sure how it's spelled) talked me through a lot of the options, he was so sweet and the older greek gentlemen there behind the counter we so nice. I got a container of the almond cookies- these were a little more pricey than the other cookies and sooooo worth it (also dairy free!). I also picked up a tray of their frozen cheese pies as a gift for my friend and I have to say I will 100% be returning to buy more. 5$ for a little tray of 8 mini pies ready to go in the oven. they have them with just cheese, and with cheese and spinach. Such a great thing to have in the freezer ready to go. they also sell bigger quantities and you better believe I'll be buying them for my next party. I can't wait to go back- I got cookies, cheese pies, spinach pies, and tried a few other items Nico gave me samples of- EVERYTHING was delicious. GO HERE !!!! great service, great food

Please go support this local hidden gem Greek bakery!! The owner is the sweetest man who has been there since 1970. He has so much passion and is so friendly. He is soo sweet and the quality of his spinach pie`s are unmatched! Definitely will go back to try his other pastries & sweets!

no-frills shop on Cicero, but totally worth a visit! The spanakopita is delicious, and a generous serving for only $5. The owner included a free cookie (melomakarona?) with my food when I told him it was my first time visiting his shop. Lots of desserts, including baklava, kourabiedes, thumb print cookies, and bougatsa. Cash only. I definitely intend to go back when I'm craving Greek sweets.

Let's see, where do I start? This place is an old fashioned pastry shop that focuses on quality. And the reason I say that is because my uncle in Greece used to make his own pastries. So I have a good idea when it comes to quality. Don't expect fancy bags or packaging here. Everything is done the old-fashioned way. Prices are written by a marker, and you pay cash. Chris, the owner, is one the most and kind human beings you will ever meet. I have been in the food industry all my life, and this is where I buy my cookies and sweets. The Spinach and Cheese Pies are to die for, so is the Baklava, Galaktobouriko, and Kourambiedes.
Highly recommend this place.

$2 baklava was a huge portion and super delicious! Spinach pie was $3.50 and a generous portion, plus crispy dough and big chunks of cheese inside. Old man at the front seems to be the baker himself - very kind and heated up the food for us! Will be back for sure!
