I tried the galaktoboureko, and it was divine.
Spinach pie and spinach & cheese pastry are a disaster. The spinach pie was a bland soggy brick of oily mush. Tasted like it was soaked in cheap vegetable oil. Spinach and cheese tasted like raw dough with that same glob of flavorless spinach. A pastry isn't supposed to a be so heavy and oily. I tried to heat up the pastry in a toaster and my whole kitchen smelled like cheap oil. Staff was kind and professional.
I was on a search for bougatsa and was so excited to find Zymi bakery. They have friendly sevice and a lovely atmosphere. The bougatsa is perfect and so is the price and portion. The spinach and cheese pinwheels are also really good. And if you appreciate a strong coffee try the iced greek coffee. I will definitely be back in the future!
It's must stop for a sweet treat and sip.
This place is fantastic. Best baklava in the city…state…country. Highly recommend.
Great place for grabbing a coffee on the go or just enjoying a pastry/ dessert indoors.

Great little Greek bakery. Being Greek myself, I was excited to find this place so close to home.

Zymi is a delightful gem, where the aroma of freshly baked goods fills the air and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The galaktoboureko-baklava was simply amazing and the idea to execute that is extremely innovative. Each treat reflects a commitment to quality, making every visit a delicious experience. This bakery is a true treasure for lovers of baked goods!

The cake pops and cheesecake had a slight off flavor to them, almost like a plasticy aroma . . . The caramel cake was decent.
But everything else had such an off putting flavor. They’re probably much better at making the other items like the baklava and more traditional items.

Wonderful treats inside, expertly crafted! My body would be in trouble if I lived closer. Perfect business to support for Greek delicacies, mostly all on the sweet side. Great treat for a bike ride. Dump Dunkin! Support this business and make your mouth dance!

I’m basing my review on 4 bakery items I had. The Vanilla cake, strawberry cake, red velvet cake pop & the cookies & cream cheesecake. Overall all 4 items were pretty good. I personally wasn’t a big fan of the cookies & cream cheesecake. I will be going back to check out the sandwiches & some different bakery items!

I recently visited Zymi Bakery for the first time and indulged in their offerings :D I picked up two pieces of tsourekia and a few kourabiedes.
The tsourekia were simply AMAZING!!! Incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and boasting a perfect texture!! However, when it came to the kourabiedes, I wasn't as enamored. While they were fresh and the texture was pleasing, I found the taste of bitter almond to be a bit overpowering for my palate.
Despite this, I'm eager to return to Zymi Bakery!! However, I can't help but wish it was closer to downtown. Perhaps considering expanding your business location in the future would be a great idea ;)
This place goes craaaaaaaazy. Baklava cheesecake- insane.
