Today, my family, and I had the pleasure of eating at Sweetwater. My meal of choice was the char-grilled shrimp with French fries! The food was top tear! Lisa was our waitress and she was phenomenal! As for the atmosphere, it is a beautiful place with the most incredible view and no Illinois as far as I’m concerned. I felt like I was on a tropical vacation. Thank you so much!

A beautiful riverside location with outdoor seating and a bustling bar. Sweetwater offers novel takes on standard American classics mixed with tropical touches. The truffles and the Bananas Foster cheesecake are worth saving room for! Creative cocktails and an incredible selection of rum and other fine libations.

We had lunch on Saturday for the first time. We had the house made pork rinds the fried fish and fries plate. There were 5 -6 pieces of fish.
Wonton chicken tacos with a spicy coleslaw. And chicken lettuce wraps. We also ordered 3 truffles key lime, a peanut butter and salt caramel they were all delicious. Staff was very friendly and very tentative. A very good lunch spot. With a view. They are also open for dinner.
