This place would get five stars if it wasn't for a fairly nearby competitor. That said, I tried the green chicken and the pineapple and I found both delightful. If pressed for time and in the immediate area, I would definitely pop in here. Nobody will ever complain about these tamales and I'm sure the extensive menu would eventually provide me with a favorite order. Looking forward to supporting this small business and exploring the menu.
They have good food, but service is trash. I went with my dad, and we're not greeted at all. There was a lady at the cash register (no mask). As soon as we walked up to order, she took a personal call (face time). She yelled for someone to come help us. This guy came, and we ordered 2 champurrados. He asked us if that was it, obviously not. -_-. We started ordering more items and he started scrambling to find pen and paper. Birria is present here, and when I tried its juices for the first time, I was blown away. I was astounded by how tasty this was and gave this business a recommendation for a nice birria. There is a lot of carryout, it's a little restaurant, and cash only is accepted. They are well known for their tamales and atoles of various flavors. The service is a little lacking; there are only two ladies taking orders, and occasionally they overlook the patrons who are waiting while seated....read full review
