Tierra Distilling Co. & Cafe

The spirits were wonderful, the flatbread combined with them well and was tasty, and rounded it all off with an excellent latte! What made our visit to Tierra Distilling so great were the wonderful, knowledgeable, fierce women who helped tell us all about the distillery and spirits -- so welcoming and helpful on this Saturday midday trip. Thank you all!!

I was initially hesitant to try this coffee shop/bar due to a one-star review on Google, but the owner’s response impressed me so much that I decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed. The barista was exceptionally helpful and provided excellent recommendations. The marshmallow cold foam was incredible, and the espresso was perfect, served with sparkling water reminiscent of Italy. Thank you, Tierra!

Our bartender Madison was excellent and very knowledgeable about the cocktails and house made spirits. Awesome evening with my wife and awesome service from this young lady. Highly recommend to anyone!

Great coffee/service and the second floor is sort of a hidden gem to hang out/do some work in Clarendon Hills.

Tierra is a great local coffee shop! They do a great job with Lattes and have a nice relaxed vibe. This is a regular stop for me especially when I have a long drive and need to stay awake!

It doesn't seem that impressive when coming into the store. I didn't like their cold brews, or their cappunicos.

Tierra is the best! Being daily customers, Noel and I knew it was the only place to host my retirement from teaching party. From the get go, Brandon and John were amazing, helping us plan our party, come up with fun drinks, and offering suggestions as to how we could make our event memorable. My coworkers (who know we go there daily) were so excited to be able to see what I talk about so much! They all told me they could see why we love Tierra so much and how yummy the drinks were. All the Tierra folks made my “send off” party incredible. Whether you want coffee, a drink, or have a party planned-I cannot recommend Tierra more highly! You won’t be disappointed ?. So happy I could have my party here and continue to enjoy my daily visits. Will continue to sing their praises and recommend them.

We hosted a corporate event at Tierra Distilling and they were AWESOME. Used their private area upstairs for the presentation which had a cool view of the distilling area, then the staff put on a cocktail-making class for us with some education on how they distill their spirits! The delicious coffee during the day combined with the awesome cocktails in the evening plus great service from the staff made this event an unforgettable experience for our guests. Would definitely recommend!!

Bravo, what a Perfect Nitche, so nice to see character shine in everything about an establishment, as an Art form, made for community, in such a relaxed, up&coming neighborhood, with such style, class, and considerate perspective of the area's potential. I'm betting this place becomes the Hub of C-Hills relaxation, AM starts, and solid, community networking. These folks nailed it, figured out the formula.Also, I saw the company response to a few negative reviews, and your camera review showed, no such merit in a negative reviews, or bots , but I bring up for not the camera proof rather, the tact and grace employed in the response. Another plus, as everyone from discerning clientele to wandered in, appears more than welcome. Handling reviews like a champ!!!

Would have given it 4 or 5 stars, but just met the rudest girl doing coffee this morning (Sunday, April 14th). We have been coming here daily, ordering $5/7 dollar coffees tipping 25% and she made a big deal about giving me an ice water for my dogs. Mind you, there were no other customers and it would have taken her two seconds. Teach your GenZ staff some work ethic. This isn’t a boutique coffee shop in wicker park. Stop acting like one. Attitude doesn’t pay in this town. Sparrow coffee is opening soon. Hopefully they hire nicer staff.
